The one thing I would say, and I have seen it happen so many times before is when Iain, I think (looks a little like Bill Bailey?), was being interviewed towards the end of the video outside the BBC, he bombards the person he is talking to with fact after fact.
This tends to leave people who are not immersed in 9/11 with their heads spinning at best and feeling bullied or shouted down at worst.
Perhaps the best tack under these circumstances is to give 3-4 main points but make sure there is a follow up resource available, such as a DVD to give to the person so you can say "take a look at this, see if YOU can prove it wrong, I cant and I've tried".
Not easy when you're passionate about a subject, but taking a longer term view, it might be more effective in shaping peoples' opinions. |

The video just wouldn't seem to upload to it for some reason.
Can someone make this sticky so it stays at the top of the forum so as many people can see it as possible?
Thanks in advance! _________________

WHo's copyright did you infringe? This is bizarre - who filmed it and why don't they want it on Google Video?

it was for the music I put on it. I'll have to try find some library music which is royalty free before it goes anywhere near a DVD _________________

There are a few musicians who have posted here who may help you.
Try www.starstika.com - I will also contact a friend of mine who may have something.
Can you post it without music on Google? That would be good. _________________ Andrew

i'll take a look at that music site. I would be reluctant to post without music, it's less appealing without a soundtrack _________________

Hi Pikey
Yes, the whole weekend was filmed, and DVDs will soon be available of the DRG speech.

Annie -
Would be great to see a "Dave & Annie" blog with such material posted.
You could post links to Owen Marshall's Resonance audio archives, here:
http://marshall.jellycast.com
... and have a more regular audio/video blog to fill in the gaps.
The above, along with video of campaign events might act as a kind of media pincer (with this site) for the Campaign. |

Hi Jim
Yes we are looking at this possibility, which you and some other people have suggested recently. Apparently Dave's Resonance podcast already has over 1000 subscribers. And this without any advertising or links! It could be a powerful tool for campaigning.
Regards
