This weekend I was invited to attend a Saturday conference by
www.aworldtowin.net in London. I do not have time today to dwell on the entire proceedings but suffice to say I was appalled at the chairing of the session on Britain 2006- the slide to a police state: http://www.aworldtowin.net/about/events.html. When I started to raise the relevancy of State sponsored terrorism, 9/11 and 7/7 et al and Islamophobia one ignoramus of a Chairman stamped his jackboot saying it was not relevant to the discussion. Both the attitude and manner was very disappointing for an organisation claiming to chart out new political directions. It appears that they are stuck in the box thinking and are in denial. For Paul Feldman and his associate Corinna Lotz the organisers a word of warning that they should be careful not to have Stalinist chairpersons curtailing debate and discussion. Otherwise their world to win be a loser from the start. |

This could be another example of the PTB trying to control the energies of those who would oppose them. |

A World to Win have a blog thread September 11 and state terror the title of which looked promising until you read that the state terror referred to is the terror of the 9/11 Wars comitted against other countries. A good start then.
Paul Feldman, Communications Editor of a World to Win wrote: |
The "war on terror" could not have come at a better time for Bush and Blair. What better than an endless conflict against a hidden, external enemy? To ask the question is to answer it. This is the stuff of despots down the ages. |
Is this perhaps another example of "we really do know but can't really say", so we'll frame the WOT as a convenient reponse of despots to their sliding popularity, thus fitting into our pre-determined paradigm of Marxist anti capitalism. If so, then why not go the whole hog and deliver the goods in terms of global financial collapse. That would still fit, and is more accurate than the selective rationale of a worthless Enron pension.

Another interesting, Tarpleyesque thread Terror Plots and the State Within a State Again, a diluted focus that characterises the framers as a threat to our Human Rights rather than our human lives and limbs. _________________ The Medium is the Massage - Marshall McLuhan. |
