Israeli planes fire at German Ship in Lebanon

The German mission in Lebanon is investigating an incident in which two Israeli F-16 warplanes fired shots at their ships patrolling the Lebanese waters.

The incident which happened on Monday came as German ships went on their usual patrol as part of the UN peace force deployed in the country.

The incident also happened as the planes flew over the ships – in violation of a UN peace accord that demands Israel stay out of Lebanon. The UN force was deployed after the end of the Israeli/Hizbollah war in which Israel bombed Lebanon killing more than a thousand civilians.

Any mention of this in the mainstream news? I never even heard a whisper of it. If it's true then it's just that old story of Israel doing whatever they like and getting away with it.

I wrote an email to the "BILD Zeitung" (German version of the SUN) and asked them if they published anything about it, or know anything.
