The Congress of the Green-Left Party held in Reykjavik, 21-23 October 2005 calls on the Government of Iceland to produce the evidence on alleged responsibility of persons in Afghanistan for the terrorist acts of 11 September 2001, on which the Government based its support of the U.S. aggression and occupation of that country --

-The Congress wishes to convey its solidarity with the struggle of victims' families for the truth and supports the demand for an independent, international inquiry on these terrorist acts. -

Well done the Iceland Green Party, pity we could not get the support of the UK Green party at their national conference in Lancaster.

Rather than calling for an full professional independent inquiry into the events of 911 maybe we should adopt a more hardline approach, especially bearing in mind the compelling evidence exposed on the world wide web and demand a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION.
