Thursday 2nd November
The age of suicide terrorism and its impact on Britain and the world
Organisation: Henry Jackson Society
Location: Committee Room 6, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA
Time: 2pm
Details: At a time when security sources have indicated that the UK is al-Qaeda's number one terror target, the Henry Jackson Society - by kind permission of Michael Gove MP - cordially invites you to a Parliamentary Discussion on "The age of suicide terrorism and its impact on Britain and the world" with Yoram Schweitzer of the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies, University of Tel Aviv.
Mr. Schweitzer has lectured and published widely on terror-related issues, and consults for government ministries on a private basis. His areas of expertise include the "Afghan Alumni" phenomenon and the threat posed by bin Laden well before bin Laden became a figure of public notoriety, suicide terrorism, and state-sponsored terrorism. He is the author (with Shaul Shy) of An Expected Surprise: The September 11th Attack. |
