Video - VoIP Telephone Networks - how to bypass surveillance

I just found this very interesting little video which explains how telephone surveillance does not, in all likelyhood, do what it has been introduced to do - and that it is (obviously) being used to monitor the general public.

This clever guy shows how easy it would be for anybody with a computer to set up a private telephone network at home which cannot be tapped, which you can connect to anywhere that there is a wireless network and, apart from the cost of electricity, is free of charge. This is probably marginally more complicated than installing Skype and you will need a special wi-fi phone - they are currently about £100 but prices can only come down.
