ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVES ON THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM

This is my first message on this forum. I suggested at a meeting this week when Dr.Naseem was present that the following website should be visited for Islamic perspectives on the so called war on global terrorism at
www.jihadunspun.com.
It is important for Muslims and nonMuslims to cooperate and collaborate in the struggle for truth. The discussion on 9/11 et al should be contextualised not one between freedom versus terrorism but of
truth versus falsehood. I am currently planning an event on the following theme which was discussed with some members:-

THE STRUGGLE FOR TRUTH
From 11/9- 7/7 Islamic Terrorism or Crisis of Global Capitalism

It is important to focus on not just what really happened but why and develop sustainable alternatives. I look forward to some positive feedback. This is also important as an article was recently sent to me by a futurist painting a scenario of global economic collapse, war, genocide
and fascism. This has happened previously in the 20s and 30s of the last century and should be taken seriously in any crisis management.
