The next big thing, I believe will involve US intervention of some sort in Iran.

It's not about WMD, the 'al-CIA-duh Database' or nuclear ambitions, it's about the unpaid credit card statements of Mr. US of A that total $7,880,078,708,086.37 (going up all the time - check the current figure at http://www.publicdebt.treas.gov/opd/opdpenny.htm . That's 7.9 trillion Dollars of an overdraft. The USA can currently get away with this bacause of the US PetroDollar hegemony (Shakin' off my boots.)

Now if this hegemony was threatened, as it was iby Iraq (& we all know what has happened there - see http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html for an indepth analysis) & as it is now by Iran (see http://usa.mediamonitors.net/content/view/full/17450) with its proposals to eatblish a Euro Oil Bourse in March 2006, tthen this would upset Uncle Sam & all his unpaid credit card bills will become a problem, big problem.

The Iraq situation was solved militarily with the result that Iraq oil sales reverted to Dollars in June 2003, but the word is now that the Iran situation cannot be solved by military means (the current quagmire in Iraq, Iran being much more of a national force to be reckoned with etc.)

A Nuclear option may be chosen, but word on blogstreet is that military staff are against the idea - some things are afoot see http://rigorousintuition.blogspot.com/2005/08/things-go-sliding.html (an excellent blog, by the way).

See also http://www.xymphora.blogspot.com/ for more info the dollar. (Another excellent blog - thoroughly recommended daily reading)

The Rigorous Intuition blog states that Nuclear Exercises are planned in the States soon. We all know about the Exercises that were planned on the dates of 11/9/01 & 7/7/05.

I fear that things are gonna happen soon.
I wish I were wrong, let's see.

peace, folks

I see that it was all over the news headlines last night that Iran are 'arming the Iraq insurgents'.

These headlines were not the result of any declared foreign office statement, just an 'undisclosed senior diplomat'. The Foreign office has provided no confirmation or denied statement.

Reading independent news reports, apparently Iran had complained of "British forces' support and links with some Iranian (i.e. anti Iranian government) terrorist elements who crossed the Iranian border and were behind some explosions in southern parts of Iran", along the borders with Iraq near Iran's Khuzestan province before the last Iranian presidential elections

Also we have seen the SAS in action in southern Iraq (Basra) &, no doubt, in Iran. Why the f**k would Iran want a destabilised Iraq?

For more info on the real reason behind current events, go to [url]
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CLA410A.html[/url]

I find it hard to believe the lack of mainstream mediai coverage of Iran's declared intention to set up (in March 2006) an independent oil bourse
which would remove the US Petrodollar hegemony.

Things will start moving on this subject soon. I was waiting for the time when the next spate of 'terrorist attacks' would be linked to Iran, giving licence to the US/UK to storm into Iran. Or maybe it will be a nuke this time.

God help us.................

It seems that the pressure is being further applied to Iran & to those that would seek to find a peaceful way of trying to settle the (currently overblown) situation in respect of the Iranian Nuclear Issue.

Now remember that Iran is a signatory to the Non Proliferation Treaty & is (according to US sources, 5-10 years away from developing a nuclear bomb. Iran has stated that its nuclear ambitions are to provide nuclear energy and, according to the NPT, every nation has that right.

So what do we see this week. The Indian government minister who speaks out against blindly following the US led sanction against Iran for its nuclear ambitions, is accused, with no evidence, of profiteering from the Oil for Food Scandal (similar to how G.Galloway was tarred). Links detailed below:

Friday Nov 4Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov calls indian External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh and conveys to him his country's efforts to forge a consensus on Tehran's nuclear programme which the US believes is aimed at developing nuclear weapons. http://www.newkerala.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=47704

Sunday Nov.6
NEW DELHI (AP)--India may reverse its vote on a resolution putting Iran on notice over its nuclear program if Tehran [Iran] faces a harsher resolution at an upcoming meeting of the U.N. atomic agency (24th Nov.), the Indian External Affairs Minister, K Natwar Singh said.

India had surprised many and shocked traditional ally Iran by joining the U.S., Britain, France, Germany and other nations in backing a resolution calling on the IAEA to consider reporting Iran to the U.N. Security Council for not complying with the nuclear nonproliferation treaty, in September.

But that's about as far India will go, and will not accept a stronger resolution [against Iran] at an upcoming meeting of the IAEA on Nov. 24, Foreign Minister K. Natwar Singh said Sunday. http://framehosting.dowjonesnews.com/sample/samplestory.asp?StoryID=20 05110701460000&Take=1

Monday 7th Nov. 2005
Former US Federal Reserve chief Paul Volcker named K. Natwar Singh and the Congress party as "non-contractual beneficiaries" of the $64 billion oil-for-food programme.

Quote:

US State Department spokesperson Adam Ereli said: "We will continue to work closely and in partnership with the [Indian] government on a broad agenda of bilateral issues and regional cooperation and we certainly look forward to continuing that."

He also rejected any conclusions being drawn from Indian news reports that [India] would refuse to any future sanctions against Iran.

"On Iran, I hadn't seen the remarks you talked about and I think, frankly, you know, the way forward on that issue is clear."

"The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) issued, you know, a resolution on it. We all know what's needed and we'll work to accomplish that and meet again to review progress," Ereli said.

The Volcker Committee did not have the UN’s mandate to find out the non-contractual beneficiaries of the Oil-for-Food programme. Hence, there is little if no evidence behind the naming of the non-contractual beneficiaries, i.e. -Indian PM says there's no evidence to support Volckerhttp://dnaindia.com/report.asp?NewsID=8915
