Everybody is doing it. Why do posters post in multiple quote boxes, an entire page of exchanges just to answer or evade one single point or question?

Unless linking to a different thread, it isn't economical, isn't necessary and may discourage fencesitters and wobblers from participating because it is difficult to follow. Or do truthers and critics really have nothing else to do?

Just a thought.

Many possibilities. Sheer Laziness is one, another is the POV that it caries the whole conversation between posters along with the thread so people don't have to read page after page to keep up: another is as a deliberate tactic to "bury" info, debating points or questions that would rather not be faced

Everyone does it to some extent, regardless of their debating position, its human nature, and I'd doubt that this thread is able to influence matters personally

We're probably all guilty to varying degrees.
But if the exchange has turned into little more than a slanging match, there's little point embedding all the previous slanging.
Maybe we could all agree to trim the embedded quotes to a reasonable degree?

Another point is that 911.co.uk seems very slow these days, and less embedded stuff will make it easier to navigate.

Best regards

Ig
