The Ipswich Truth Campaign is now full on as we are turning on the power with posters, flyers and prodding the media. The focus of our first night out is proving to be a great catalyst for all concerned. If you are reading this and thinking of getting a group going, my advice would be - just do it, invite a speaker or just organise an event pick a date and crack on. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I have been totally gobsmacked at what has happened in the past few weeks.

Because of the initial response to Unspinning the Truth we have had to find a larger venue - we got one in the Town Hall - The Ipswich Council Chambers, its all a bit posh and will easily accomodate 200 people.

Last week we were invited along to the local forum of the 'Stop the War Coalition' to deliver a presentaion about what we were doing and to face questions like 'whats all this about Dave & Annie then'? They were all very curious and listened and asked many questions and gave good honest opinions. To cut a long story short we went down a storm and ended up down the pub with them after and now they are going to help out at the event. Out of the 15 or so present, one had heard of building 7 and none had seen LC2. Yet they were interested and had been stimulated enough to want to come along. This is what prompted the venue change.

Then...would you believe it? On Thursday, along with co-campaigner Mark, I was interviewed by the the 'East Anglian Daily Times' journalist Mark Bullstrode at their main offices in Ipswich. The EADT is the main daily for Suffolk, Essex, S. Norfolk and E.Cambs. It readership approximately 100,000 daily.

And get this - he actually resonated with what we were saying! The interview went on for about 30 mins which is an age for a journalist.

Previously I had written a letter to the Deputy Editor about the formation of the Ipswich Truth Campaign and the forthcoming Unspinning event with David & Annie together my take on 9/11 evidence now surfacing.

We'll see what he writes I guess, but he has said he is going to mention the 911 Truth Campiagn and the Ipswich group and plug our first event on 13th Dec. I am not holding my breath but what a result!

I'll let you know when the story is published.

We are buzzing here in Ipswich and I wanted to share it with you. Its all about delivery. Make them feel your fear and your going nowhere - be honest, stick to simple facts and maintain humility and nothing can stop you - this information must be networked and no-one else is going to do it for us.

Come on mystic wings - get up there!

Carl

Sounds like it's going to be a great night Carl. Great to see more truth evenings cropping up around the country.

Very Happy
