Whilst the suggestion, or rather the implication of what is potentially possible is noted, a refugee from 'Allo 'Allo holding a flower is a far cry from the events of 9/11.

It is unquestionable that this has been churned and picked over countless times, but the variables of 'simply' cloaking a missile or a non-Boeing like some Klingon Bird Of Prey exceed the visual aspects manifold.

There are many key elements that could fail mid-ruse which would be compounded by the additional essentials needed to carry it off. In other words, the simplest method would be to use real aircraft of the correct make and model, there being a raft of things outside of ‘simply cloaking a missile’ to stage it successfully.

The audio aspects would need staging and managing.

In addition to the charges needed to level the buildings, you would need carefully placed charges to simulate the entry and exit points of the aircraft. Of course, if you used a missile, could you guarantee the nice ‘plane shaped hole’ we currently see in videos and stills of the WTC?

The exiting debris, engine and wheel, would need careful planting – was it covered with a sheet until needed, was it dropped off the back of a lorry or fired from the upper floors of the WTC? What about the aircraft wreckage on the adjacent roofs – planted beforehand?

Were the fireballs simply the result of a pyrotechnically competent projectile or was aviation fuel planted in the WTC?

There are obviously many other aspects that can be elaborated upon, but from my perspective, I completely discount the hologram theory/concept –it makes no sense whatsoever. I see no benefit from adding to the complex burden of planning to add intricate elements that could so easily fail.

The beam weapon angle is another idea completely.
