Did anyone see this excellent documentary on extraordinary rendition and UK's complicity in this wickedness?

If you missed it I strongly recommend setting your video for tomorrow night's rebroadcast.

I saw the Newsnight article on Tuesday night.

The pressure group Liberty is calling for investigations (see their press release at http://www.liberty-human-rights.org.uk/press/2005/torture-flights.shtm l.

Liberty are requesting that the Police Chief Constables of Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Dorset, Essex, Hampshire, the Metropolitan Police, the Ministry of Defence Police, Suffolk, Sussex, Thames Valley, and West Midlands investigate suspected extraordinary rendition flights at their local airports. They too have been asked to respond within 14 days.

Torture is illegal & by allowing these stop offs by CIA planes, some complicity may be revealed if it can be shown that UK authorities knew the purpose of the flights.

Let's see what happens............
