Just came across this video on Youtube link from KMC forums, it apparently explains the various doubts about the pentagon hit.

a few mistakes in it, lampost 5 for example in the photograph doesn´t corrispond to the 3d animation, its too close to the side of the road

The vid isn´t just the apparent video of the plane hitting which the first frame would suggest, so take a look.

Wouldn't a damaged engine trail dark smoke rather than light coloured smoke?

The easiest way to settle what hit the Pentagon is to relaease the Sheraton and transportation department camera footage in full, not the 13 or so frames that have been released.

If it is a clear cut jet liner that hit, why wouldn't they?

Good point, But why should the plane spew black smoke when it wasn´t damaged yet, I doubt there´d be enough damage or time from hitting a lamp post to develop black smoke. Maybe the smoke was caused by heavy breaking or acceleration im no avaition expert though so its hard to say.
