Ipswich Truth invited to STW/CND meeting

Ipswich Truth have been invited along at a meeting tonight which is focusing on a number of issues:

Bring the Troops Home, No to Islamophobia, No Trident Replacement Public Meeting: Lecture Hall, Central Library, Old Foundry Road, Ipswich at 7.30pm. Speakers - Andrew Murray, Chair of Stop the War Coalition.
Mell Harrison, CND Eastern Region.

Ipswich Truth will have stand of DVDs booklets, leaflets, stickers etc. We will also have a laptop on which we will be showing WTC7 collapse.

The idea here is to have a presence and show the STWers that the 911 issue is very much part of the picture.

Should be interesting with Andrew Murray present - can't wait to hear his view on 911

About 50 present, plenty of interest in us, 1 punter somewhat negative but on the whole, well received by all. The 20 deception notes are always a winner I find! It is strange how so many hover around the merchandise like they want to know more but just dare not take that extra step. It all looks sooo tempting, but its all a theory, isn't it?

Interestingly the talk here by WR coincides with a STW march and demo in London (Sat 24th Feb). This meeting was largely set up to rally the troops for this event.

We did not hi-jack the meeting by asking lots of 911 related questions but afterwards we had a good chinwag with both the CND spokesperson and his partner - they took away lots of leaflets and a few booklets.

I thought Andrew Murray came across very well - he knows his stuff but won't really touch the truth about 911. its just a shame that these guys don't just take a step further back and really gets some perspective. Murray seemed to believe that after Bush and Blair that we might get someone better. I laughed all the way home.

It felt very good to be present and I am pleased thst we made the effort to turn out. There were a number of people present who have been to Ipswich Truth getherings before so it was good for them to see us there also
