See the analysis from the Independent Centre for Strategic Studies and Analysis by Abid Ullah Jan at www.icssa.org on 7/7 and 9/11. More interestingly at the recent event at London's EXCEL Docklands centre
which was organised by ISLAM CHANNEL attracted 20, 000 Muslims at the Global Peace and Unity conference. It has been reported that Imran Khan referred to the 9/11 CONSPIRACY. I believe that it is important to follow through this lead as he is an important and significant opinion maker here and abroad. Especially at a time when there is a need for momentum for an independent TRUTH commission on 7/7.
Also xmas and new year greetings to all in this awful world we all have to live in. |

Like the Jews, the biggest thing the Muslim community can do is reject the victim status, though as Bush has stated a crusade against Islam is underway, and say no it's not us
Nice to see Muslim campaigners roundly reject the official stories |

I'm not sure what you mean by "like the Jews". It's invidious to generalise but on the whole in the 1930s and 40s Jews in Europe did not reject a victim status but were led like lambs to the slaughter. Or maybe you see a consequence of that slaughter, militant expansionist Zionism, as a rejection of victim status. I hope it is not a model of rejecting victim status which Muslims will seek to emulate.
Bush actually used the term "crusade" once only and then was presumably warned that although in English common parlance it is seen not as a negative word but as almost synonymous with "campaign", its origins are mediaeval aggressive wars by Christendom on the Islamic world.
He also used the term "Paki" once only and was presumably similarly warned.
Yes there probably is a neocon agenda to create war between Islam and the West, but I don't think we should take individual words used once only by a profoundly ignorant US president as evidence of it.
