Interesting clip, at the 10-11s mark, if you look close, you can see part of the the core. The ends of the beams are scorched black.

I find it difficult to draw any conclusions from the analysis posted over at the evidence base. I think it comes back to this whole thing about how hot the fires were.

surely it points to core column failure. like the poster above mention you see the core column with the end blackened, how the end was blackened i dont know but the building would'nt tip unless the core had failed first, yet i dont remember it being said offically the core failed first, if im wrong please say.

ive heard the floors sagged and it pulled the trusses away but no mention of the core failing first to allow tipping. it could point to the core being cut and walking before collapse?

if you keep watching the rest of the building was bought down mid-walk and so the top just went down instead of completing the full walk motion.

downloaded the larger version, watched it in slomo, I was wrong, looks like the metalwork left behind is part of the perimeter, no sign of the core.
