| I remember reading somewhere, months ago, that an aircraft engine was found in the streets of Manhattan but it didn't match the supposed aircraft that smashed into the towers. Does anyone here know anything about that? |

| I remember seeing a photograph of a battered engine with a guy standing beside it. The story claimed it was smaller than an engine from the crash planes. Maybe that was why the story disappeared! |

Nope, it's not that one. Sorry TC. I did come across that one in my search.
This was from a long while back, probably before you and TTWSU3 joined. It showed a reasonable close up of a cast part number, that was tricky to make out.
Still searching, but will have to give up for a while soon. Someone will find it I'm sure. |

Thanks Telecaster, I'm not great at running searchs but hey, you do a great job! Thanks for the respect too. I could use a bit of that.
So this topic has been endlessly debated here, has it? Not since I've been on board. Maybe it needs debating again. Those who say there were no planes would no doubt say the engine was planted in the street. But why the wrong size engine? What was the conclusion of those endless debates? |

I'd say, erm, two sides, diametrically opposed to each other and both more firmly entrenched than before the "debate", which, invariably is not a debate at all, rather an exchange of name calling and contradiction.
