Well done Martin, good radio interview thanx for sharing that and good luck with the event.

That announced £5 entrance fee may deter some from attending who otherwise would have.

If the aim is to maximise audience numbers and the seeds we are sowing its imo better to request donations on the night and pass round a container in the audience or have it at the exit as people leave.

This worked reasoanbly well at Lancaster and we met all our costs, though we would not have been able to do this if we had not managed to keep our costs down to a minimum.

Look forward to reading a report how the event went as well as any tips for us to adopt for improvement

Check out the Argus this weekend! I'm pretty proud of the spread/cover on William, the Lewes event is sure to be busy...

BBC South East TV viewers should also look out for coverage of William Rodriguez this coming Monday evening (an hour before the lecture!) on their 6.30pm regional news programme, as the current plan is to interview him for then (although TV schedules are notoriously changeable).

'The Argus' is apparently running a big feature on Rodriguez in their weekend edition this Saturday, and there is a short piece in the current 'Sussex Express'. There is also a good article on Rodriguez at www.vivalewes.com

Please note that there is NO pre-booking for the event, nor seat-reserving, so we recommend getting there early to guarantee seats. Doors open at 7.15pm. Hopefully we're going to be busy!
