Er... what's this section for?

According to what I read, the 'News' and 'Articles' sections were to be merged and this seems to have happened - all the old posts in 'Articles' are now in 'News'.

'News' is now labelled, '9/11 and false flag terror News and Articles'

'Articles' is now labelled. 'Articles related to 9/11 or False Flag Terror issues'

WTF!?

Ian Neal asked for merge
Tony Gosling (after not objecting to above) asked for split.

What to do ay?

Perhaps the articles section should be used to archive news reports and info etc by topic?

They use this system on julyseventh.co.uk and it is very effective.

We simply create a sticky for each subject and add to it.

e.g. a thread titled WTC7 where we copy paste/ link all articles re: WTC7

Just a thought.

I vote we get rid of this section, there are too many now. News and Articles are one in the same, especially with the other non-9/11 sections now there, one section should suffice??

Skeptic I like that idea of an archive with the main topics / issues of 9/11 each having their own sticky. Personally I will go with the flow. It was my idea to originally merge news and articles, but I don't have strong feelings either way.

i think we need the minimum number of sections, if anything the general section should go since the new "controversies" sections pretty much cover the old 'general' content Wink

or perhaps implement a tree structure with 911 & non-911, then subsections off those? the 12 current sections look hmm messy/confusing and hard to navigate.

I think it would be a great resource.

We could compile a list of topics then set up threads for each.

We could also have a suggestions thread if people felt certain articles didn't belong in any topics or if they had other suggestions.

Personally I think the more topics it is divided into the easier it is to navigate (see julyseventh.co.uk for example).

Some possible basic categories would be:

- WTC1
- WTC2
- WTC7
- Pentagon
- United 93
- NORAD/ FAA response
- Put Options
- Testimony/ news reports of explosions
- FEMA Report
- NIST Report
- Commision Report
- Larry Silverstein
- Power Downs
- Alleged Hijackers
etc

but ideally it would be divided into more specific topics

e.g. WTC1 would have one thread for 'impact' one for 'collapse' etc

This forum should not exist - it simply confuses posting energy. Forums should each have a clear identity. less is more.

Is Tony Gosling moving threads here just to justify keeping his vanity Articles section?

I think it is bleedin' obvious just by comparing the section descriptions of the Articles section and the News section and its pitifully low use that this part of the forum is super numeri.

Interesting how I can be derided at length (what nice people you are) without being PM'd by anybody except the poster of yesterday's main news item - certain people prefer having their tizzies and bunfights in public to make the campaign look as amateurish and disorganised as possible - putting their own trivia before the greater good of the campaign

there has to be a differentiation between any old article and news

if you don't do that there's no focus

its that simple

So, explain the difference between 'a four legged creature which barks' and 'a barking creature with four legs'!

And why should anybody bother to communicate with you via Private Message?

Since our last private exchange, if you have anything to say to me, Tony, I'd rather you said it in public.
