Subsequently, this conference has become known as the Bilderberg conference and is held once a year, in Europe or North America. Numerous British prime ministers, including Tony Blair and John Major have attended along with their American counterparts. In an affront to democracy, our elected leaders rub shoulders with unaccountable C.E.O s of powerful trans-national corporations away from public view. What is the purpose of this meeting?
