Mark Wallinger recreated Haw's Parliament Square protest camp for his State Britain exhibition.

It gets my vote! I am painting his camp right now, there are 6 or 7 tents outside parliment like David and Goliath. It really is a lovely spot. There are protests every day. A couple of weeks ago Mark Thomas turned up with a load of others who were basically protesting about anything.

Lots of humour and fun. Also there were protest stewards who are aware of the law so that the police do not overstep the mark and the activists stay within in.

I love he fact that he is there, what a man!

One of the most relavent pieces nominated for The turner prize for a long time.
I went to see it a few months back, fascinating and stirring.
I wasnt aware of this protester before i saw the installation. I was both impressed, disgusted and delighted by it.

Disco, you can protest against anything as long as you have prior written approval from the police before attending. Banners, T-Shirts, Cakes, anything goes as long at the plod sign off on it
