I'm sorry I went out and bought the Sun (yes at 3am). They claim 'we know who you are', 3 squaddies face arrest. Three I counted more than three dishing out savage beatings to children. Not 'Iraqi youths' as the Sun puts it. Children, for christs sake. All of them should be arrested, including many who walked by and watched and did NOTHING...

The psychotic camermans cackle and enjoyment of it all is vile.

I'm truely disgusted.

Cartoons and now this - what else are we going to have to whip up Moslem anger? And what about us Westerners - a bomb at the Winter Olympics to get us going?. With the countdown to Iran and the need for a war fever (I've just read John Pilger's excellent Iran: the next war http://www.newstatesman.com/nscoverstory.htm) it is clear that the neocon's psychops departments are working overtime to get us in the mood for a showdown with Islam - and vice-versa. We must all swallow our natural anger and look to the example set by Mahatma Gandhi. We are going to win - but not by their rules!

The effects of sanctions and so on must have taken its toll, and there is a probability that the average Iraqi youth is shorter than his Western counterpart
A close-up photo in the * guardian today suggests from the facial hair that one of the youths was in their late teens at least
But unless an exceptional short-arse the kid who got a soldiers boot in his * could be only mid teens at most
