Strange planes over London

Over the last few months, I've been noticing small planes like this:

flying over East London, always flying the same route, from West to East.

Every few minutes, during the daytime. They are small planes with rotor typr engines like the one seen in the picture from the article.

Any clues?

mapping for google earth? guy logging hours for a pilots license could be anything mate don't get to paranoid!
