Killing Jamal Khashoggi Was Easy. Explaining It Is Much Harder
Written by former CIA officer Philip Giraldi Thursday October 18, 2018
http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2018/october/18 /killing-jamal-khashoggi-was-easy-explaining-it-is-much-harder/
Getting to the bottom of the Jamal Khashoggi disappearance is a bit like peeling an onion. It is known that Khashoggi entered the Saudi Arabian Consulate in Istanbul on October 2nd to get a document that would enable him to marry a Turkish woman. It is also known, from surveillance cameras situated outside the building, that he never came out walking the same way he entered. The presumption is that he was either killed inside or abducted, though the abduction theory would have to be based on a Consulate vehicle leaving the building with him presumably concealed inside, something that has not been confirmed by the Turks. If he was killed inside the building and dismembered, as seems likely, he could have had his body parts removed in the suitcases carried by the alleged fifteen official Saudis who had arrived that morning by private jet and left that afternoon the same way. The supposition is that the fifteen men, which may have included some members of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s bodyguard as well as a physician skilled in autopsies who was carrying a bone saw, constituted the execution party for Khashoggi.
There are certain things that should be observed about the Turks, since they are the ones claiming that the disappearance of Khashoggi may have included a summary execution and dismemberment. The Turkish intelligence service, known by its acronym MIT, is very good, very active and very focused on monitoring the activities of foreign embassies and their employees throughout Turkey. They use electronic surveillance and, if the foreign mission has local employees, many of those individuals will be agents reporting to the Turkish government. In my own experience when I was in Istanbul, I had microphones concealed in various places in my residence and both my office and home phones were tapped. A number of local hire consulate employees were believed to be informants for MIT but they were not allowed anywhere near sensitive information.
As Turkey and Saudi Arabia might be termed rivals if not something stronger, it is to be presumed that MIT had the Consulate General building covered with both cameras and microphones, possibly inside the building as well as outside, and may have had a Turkish employer inside who observed some of what was going on. Which is to say that the Turks certainly know exactly what occurred but are playing their cards closely to see what they can derive from that knowledge. The two countries have already initiated a joint investigation into what took place. Turkey’s economy is in free fall and would benefit from “investment” from the Saudis to create an incentive to close the book on Khashoggi. In other words, Turkey’s perspective on the disappearance could easily be influenced by Saudi money and the investigation might well turn up nothing that is definitive.
Saudi Arabia, for its part, has a couple of cards to play also even if it did kill and dismember Khashoggi under orders from the Crown Prince. First of all, the system of petrodollars, which basically requires nearly all purchases of petroleum to be paid in dollars, is underwritten by the Saudis. Petrodollars in turn enable the United States to print money for which there is no backing knowing that there will always be international demand for dollars to buy oil. The Saudis, who also use their own petrodollars to buy US treasury bonds, could pull the plug on that arrangement. That all means that the United States will be looking for an outcome that will not do too much damage to the Saudis.
Second, Saudi Arabia is in bed with Israel in opposition to Iran. This means the Israel Lobby and its many friends in Congress will squawk loudly about Khashoggi but ultimately shy away from doing anything about it. It already appears that a cover story is halfway in place to explain what happened. It is being suggested that a “rogue” element from Saudi Arabia might have carried out without the knowledge of the Crown Prince an interrogation or abduction attempt that went too far. Donald Trump speculated on Monday that that might be the case, suggesting that it may already be part of the official line that will be promoted. Those who know Saudi Arabia well, however, consider a high-level assassination not ordered by the Crown Prince directly to be extremely unlikely, but that does not necessarily mean that a cover story including that feature might not be successfully floated.
In regional terms, Saudi Arabia is also key to Trump’s anticipated Middle East peace plan. If it pulls out from the expected financial guarantees aspect, the plan will fall apart. Riyadh is also committed to buy tens of billions of dollars’ worth of American arms, an agreement that could be canceled if Washington begins to pressure the Saudis for answers. Beyond that, Saudi Arabia could stop pumping oil or fail to increase production when Iranian oil becomes subject to US sanctions early next month, driving the price per barrel up dramatically for everyone. The Saudi government has already indicated that it will respond forcefully to any attempts to punish it over Khashoggi and there is no reason to doubt the seriousness of that threat.
There are, of course, possible impediments to selling the fake news narrative. Some early reports suggested that Khashoggi’s fiancé had observed and possibly recorded the execution inside the consulate using the victim’s Apple wristwatch linked to an iPad in her possession. If that is true, the release of such material to the media will create worldwide demand to learn the truth that will be difficult to control. Also, there are unconfirmed reports that US intelligence knew in advance of Saudi plans to abduct Khashoggi, which could prove embarrassing to the Trump administration and could narrow its options.
The trick will be to see how a bit of extreme brutal behavior by the Saudis can be manipulated by all interested parties to produce a solution that doesn’t damage anyone too much. It will undoubtedly be far from the truth, but truth doesn’t necessarily matter much these days.

Family and education[edit]
Khashoggi was born in Mecca, the son of Mohammad Khashoggi, who was King Abdul Aziz Al Saud's personal doctor.[4] His family is of Turkish origin.[5] Adnan Khashoggi's sister was author Samira Khashoggi who married businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed and was the mother of Dodi Fayed.[6] Another sister, Soheir Khashoggi, is a well-known Arab writer (Mirage, Nadia's Song, Mosaic).[6] He was an uncle of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Khashoggi was educated at Victoria College in Alexandria, Egypt,[4] and the American universities California State University, Chico, Ohio State, and Stanford. Khashoggi left his studies in order to seek his fortune in business.[7]
Khashoggi's private jet
Khashoggi's super-yacht The Nabila, later sold to Donald Trump[8]
Business career[edit]
Khashoggi's early years were spent among some of Saudi Arabia's most influential figures. "While attending school he met Hussein bin Talal, the future King of Jordan. It was at school that Khashoggi first learned the commercial value of facilitating a deal, bringing together a Libyan classmate whose father wanted to import towels with an Egyptian classmate whose father manufactured towels, earning US$1,000 for the introduction. Khashoggi's subsequent education at university would serve as a launchpad for his commercial career."[9][10]
In one of his first big deals, a large construction company was experiencing difficulties with the trucks that it used on the shifting desert sands. Khashoggi, using money given to him by his father for a car, bought a number of Kenworth trucks, whose wide wheels made traversing the desert considerably easier. Khashoggi made his first US$250,000 leasing the trucks to the construction company, and became the Saudi Arabia-based agent for Kenworth.[9][10]
In the 1960s and 1970s, Khashoggi helped bring together Western companies and the Saudi Arabian Government to satisfy the needs of the young Kingdom for its infrastructure and defense needs.[9][10] Between 1970 and 1975, Lockheed paid Khashoggi $106 million in commissions. His commissions started at 2.5% and eventually rose to as much as 15%. Khashoggi "became for all practical purposes a marketing arm of Lockheed. Khashoggi would provide not only an entrée but strategy, constant advice, and analysis", according to Max Helzel, then vice president of Lockheed's international marketing.[11]
A commercial pioneer, he established companies in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to handle his commissions as well as developing contacts with notables such as CIA officers James H. Critchfield and Kim Roosevelt and United States businessman Bebe Rebozo, a close associate of U.S. President Richard Nixon. His yacht, the Nabila, was the largest in the world at the time and was used in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again.[9][10] After Khashoggi ran into financial problems he sold the yacht to the Sultan of Brunei, who in turn sold it for $29 million to Donald Trump, who sold it for $20 million[12] to Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal as part of a deal to keep his Taj Mahal casino out of bankruptcy.
Khashoggi headed a company called Triad International Holding Company, which among other things built the Triad Center in Salt Lake City, which later went bankrupt.[13] He was famed as an arms dealer, brokering deals between US firms and the Saudi government, most actively in the 1960s and 1970s. In the documentary series The Mayfair Set, Saudi author Said Aburish states that one of Khashoggi's first weapons deals was providing David Stirling with weapons for a covert mission in Yemen during the Aden Emergency in 1963. Among his overseas clients were defense contractors Lockheed Corporation (now Lockheed Martin Corporation), Raytheon, Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation and Northrop Corporation (the last two of which have now merged into Northrop Grumman).[10][14]
Iran–Contra affair[edit]
Khashoggi was implicated in the Iran–Contra affair as a key middleman in the arms-for-hostages exchange along with Iranian arms dealer Manucher Ghorbanifar and, in a complex series of events, was found to have borrowed money for these arms purchases from the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) with Saudi and United States backing.[14] His role in the affair created a related controversy when Khashoggi donated millions to the American University in Washington, DC to build a sports arena which would bear his name.[15] Khashoggi was a member of the university's board of trustees from 1983 until his indictment on fraud and other charges in May 1989.[16]
Imelda Marcos affair[edit]
In 1988, Khashoggi was arrested in Switzerland, accused of concealing funds, and held for three months. Khashoggi stopped fighting extradition when the U.S. prosecutors reduced the charges to obstruction of justice and mail fraud and dropped the more serious charges of racketeering and conspiracy. In 1990, a United States federal jury in Manhattan acquitted Khashoggi and Imelda Marcos, widow of the exiled Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, of racketeering and fraud.[17][18]
After Dark[edit]
Appearing on After Dark in 1991
In 1991 Khashoggi appeared on the Channel 4 live discussion programme After Dark, alongside among others Edward Heath and Lord Weidenfeld.[19]
Genesis Intermedia[edit]
Khashoggi was a financier behind Genesis Intermedia, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: GENI), a publicly traded Internet company based in the US. In 2006, Khashoggi was sued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for securities fraud.[20] The case was settled in 2008 and Khashoggi did not admit or deny the allegations.[21]
Seymour Hersh report[edit]
In January 2003, Seymour Hersh reported in The New Yorker magazine that former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense Richard Perle had a meeting with Khashoggi in Marseille in order to use him as a conduit between Trireme Partners, a private venture capital company of which he was one of three principals, and the Saudi government.[22] At the time, Perle was chair of the Defense Policy Board Advisory Committee, a Defense Department advisory group, which provided him with access to classified information and a position to influence defense policy.[22]
Khashoggi told Hersh that Perle talked to him about the economic costs regarding a proposed invasion of Iraq. "'If there is no war,' he told me, 'why is there a need for security? If there is a war, of course, billions of dollars will have to be spent.'"[23]
Personal life[edit]
Khashoggi and wife Lamia
In the 1960s, Khashoggi married 20-year-old Englishwoman Sandra Daly who converted to Islam and took the name Soraya Khashoggi. They raised one daughter (Nabila, who attended Millfield)[24] and four sons together (Mohammed, Khalid, Hussein, and Omar).[8] Another daughter, Petrina, was born after the couple divorced in 1974 but assumed to be Adnan's, until a DNA test in 1999 revealed that her father was Conservative party politician Jonathan Aitken.[25]
His second wife, the Italian Laura Biancolini, also converted to Islam and changed her name to Lamia Khashoggi. She was seventeen when she met Adnan; together they had a son, Ali.[8]
In the 1980s, the Khashoggi family occupied one of the largest villa estates in Marbella, Spain, called Baraka, hosting lavish parties.[citation needed] Guests at these parties included film stars, pop celebrities and politicians.[26] In 1985, celebrity reporter Robin Leach reported Khashoggi threw a five-day birthday party in Vienna for his eldest son,[27] and in his heyday, Khashoggi spent $250,000 a day to maintain his lifestyle.[28]He continued to spend lavishly even when he encountered financial problems.[8] His net worth was said to have been down to about 8 million in 1990.[29]
Khashoggi also owned Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in Laikipia County, Kenya. His house has since been converted into a hotel which is run by Serena Hotels.[30]
Khashoggi died on 6 June 2017 while being treated for Parkinson's disease at the Harley Street Clinic in London.[31][32] He was 81.[9][33] _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org

Jamal Khashoggi: 'Saudi decoy caught on CCTV wearing journalist's clothes'
A man wearing a fake beard reportedly left the consulate in the journalist's clothes, before heading into central Istanbul.
https://news.sky.com/story/jamal-khashoggi-saudi-decoy-caught-on-cctv- wearing-journalists-clothes-11532178
One of the "hit squad" said to be involved in Jamal Khashoggi's death apparently changed into the journalist's clothes as part of a decoy attempt.
Broadcaster CNN says it has obtained footage which appears to show the man leaving the Istanbul consulate dressed in Mr Khashoggi's clothes and wearing glasses and a fake beard.
It was around 90 minutes after Mr Khashoggi had entered the building.
A senior Turkish official has identified the man as Mustafa al Madani and said he was later caught on camera wearing Ms Khashoggi's clothes at the city's famous Blue Mosque, according to CNN.

The source claims it suggests he was brought to the city to act as a body double and is reportedly of similar age and build to Mr Khashoggi.
CCTV from the consulate around two hours before the journalist arrived appears to show al Madani entering the building wearing different clothes.
Turkish officials say other images from later that afternoon show he had changed back into his original outfit and taken off the fake beard, CNN reports.

Another picture is said to show an alleged accomplice who was with al Madani throwing a bag in a large bin.
Officials reportedly believe the bag contained Mr Khashoggi's clothes and CNN says the footage is part of the ongoing investigation.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May said she condemned the killing of Mr Khashoggi "in the strongest possible terms", adding: "We must get to the truth of what happened."
Saudi Arabia has so far not responded to the latest claims.
It said earlier that its king and crown prince had called Mr Khashoggi's son to offer their condolences for his death.
The report by the state-run Saudi Press Agency said the journalist's son, Salah, had "expressed his sincere thanks" for the gesture.

Saudi Arabi has acknowledged that Mr Khashoggi - a fierce critic of Saudi rulers - died in the consulate.
However, its explanation that the 59-year-old was unintentionally killed in a "fist fight" was met with international scepticism.
In the latest comments by the kingdom, the Saudi foreign minister Adel al Jubeir insisted his country did not know how the journalist was killed or where his body was.
He described Mr Khashoggi's death as an "aberration, a mistake" that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was not aware of.

Mr al Jubeir told Fox News: "This was an operation that was a rogue operation.
"This was an operation where individuals ended up exceeding the authorities and responsibilities they had.
"They made the mistake when they killed Jamal Khashoggi in the consulate and they tried to cover up for it," he said.
Saudi Arabia's admission that he had died in the consulate came after several weeks of insisting he had walked out alive on 2 October - the day he was reported missing.
Turkish officials have given a very different narrative to the Saudis.

President Erdogan says he will reveal the 'naked truth'
They have told the media he was brutally tortured and killed in a premeditated murder by a 15-man "hit squad" that flew in by private jet.
They also claim to have audio evidence of the murder.
On Tuesday, Turkish media also reported that a car belonging to the Saudi consulate had been found in the Sultangazi district of the city.
The country's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has said he will soon reveal details of how Mr Khashoggi died.

Mr Erdogan promised to explain all the details of the case in a speech to his party on Tuesday.
"We are looking for justice here and this will be revealed in all its naked truth, not through some ordinary steps but in all its naked truth," Mr Erdogan told a rally in Istanbul.
His comments were backed up by US President Donald Trump, who also said he expected what happened to come out by then, adding he would speak to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman "very soon".
In an interview with The Washington Post at the weekend, Mr Trump appeared more critical of the Saudis, saying "obviously there's been deception, and there's been lies".
The UK, France and Germany have issued a joint statement condemning the killing "in the strongest possible terms", saying there "remains an urgent need for clarification of exactly what happened".

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has also suspended arms sales to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Mr Khashoggi's fiancee - who is a Turkish national - is under 24-hour police protection, the Istanbul governor's office told Sky News.
Hatice Cengiz waited for hours outside the Saudi consulate before alerting authorities - as he had asked her to if he did not re-emerge.
Mr Khashoggi had entered the consulate to get papers so they could get married.
The search for his body is continuing, with a large forest near Istanbul the focus of the search.
Turkish authorities were reportedly denied permission by Saudi officials to search a parked diplomatic car on Monday.
Saudi officials said on Friday that they had arrested 18 people and fired their deputy intelligence chief and royal court adviser.

However, critics have claimed it is an effort to shield the country's crown prince, who they say would almost certainly have had knowledge of the plan.

Airstrike on Saudi Arabia for using Chemical Weapons?
Khashoggi BOMBSHELL: Britain 'KNEW of kidnap plot and BEGGED Saudi Arabia to abort plans'
MURDERED journalist Jamal Khashoggi was about to disclose details of Saudi Arabia’s use of chemical weapons in Yemen, sources close to him said last night. The revelations come as separate intelligence sources disclosed that Britain had first been made aware of a plot a full three weeks before he walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1037378/Khashoggi-murder-news-sau di-arabia-chemical-weapons-use
Intercepts by GCHQ of internal communications by the kingdom’s General Intelligence Directorate revealed orders by a “member of the royal circle” to abduct the troublesome journalist and take him back to Saudi Arabia.
The orders, intelligence sources say, did not emanate directly from de facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and it is not known if he was aware of them.
Though they commanded that Khashoggi should be abducted and taken back to Riyadh, they “left the door open” for other actions should the journalist prove to be troublesome, sources said.
Last week Saudi Arabia’s Attorney General confirmed that the murder had been premeditated - in contrast to initial official explanations that Khashoggi had been killed after a fight broke out.

“The suspects in the incident had committed their act with a premeditated intention,” he said.
“The Public Prosecution continues its investigations with the accused in the light of what it has received and the results of its investigations to reach facts and complete the course of justice.”
Those suspects are within a 15-strong hit squad sent to Turkey, and include serving members of GID.
Speaking last night the intelligence source told the Sunday Express: “We were initially made aware that something was going in the first week of September, around three weeks before Mr Khashoggi walked into the consulate on October 2, though it took more time for other details to emerge.
“These details included primary orders to capture Mr Khashoggi and bring him back to Saudi Arabia for questioning. However, the door seemed to be left open for alternative remedies to what was seen as a big problem.
“We know the orders came from a member of the royal circle but have no direct information to link them to Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
"Whether this meant he was not the original issuer we cannot say.”

Crucially, the highly-placed source confirms that MI6 had warned his Saudi Arabian counterparts to cancel the mission - though this request as ignored.
“On October 1 we became aware of the movement of a group, which included members of Ri'āsat Al-Istikhbārāt Al-‘Āmah (GID) to Istanbul, and it was pretty clear what their aim was.
“Through channels we warned that this was not a good idea. Subsequent events show that our warning was ignored.”
Asked why MI6 had not alerted its Five Eye intelligence partner, the US (Khashoggi was a US resident) the source said only: “A decision was taken that we’d done what we could.”
However analysts offered one possible explanation for this.
“The misleading image that has been created of Jamal Khashoggi covers up more than it reveals. As an insider to the Saudi regime, Khashoggi had also been close to the former head of the intelligence agency. He was an Islamist, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and someone who befriended Osama Bin Laden and had been sympathetic to his Jihad in Afghanistan," said Tom Wilson, of the Henry Jackson Society think-tank.

"All of these connections are being hidden by a simplistic narrative that Jamal Khashoggi was just a progressive freedom fighting journalist. It isn’t plausible that he was murdered simply for being a journalist critical of the regime. The truth is much more complicated.”
Last night a close friend of Mr Khashoggi revealed that he was about to obtain “documentary evidence” proving clams that Saudi Arabia had used chemical weapons in its proxy war in Yemen.
“I met him a week before his death. He was unhappy and he was worried,“ said the middle eastern academic, who did not wish to be named.
“When I asked him why he was worried, he didn't really want to reply, but eventually he told me he was getting proof that Saudi Arabia had used chemical weapons. He said he hoped he be getting documentary evidence.

“All I can tell you is that the next thing I heard, he was missing.”
While there have been recent unsubstantiated claims in Iran that Saudi Arabia has been supplying ingredients that can be used to produce the nerve agent Sarin in Yemen, it is more likely that Mr Khashoggi was referring to phospherous..
Last month it was claimed that Saudi Arabia had been using US-supplied white phosphorous munitions against troops and even civilians in Yemen,
Though regulations state the chemical may be used to provide smokescreens, if used illegally it can it burn to the bone.
Chemical warfare expert Col Hamish de Bretton-Gordon said: “We have already seen in Syria that nothing is as effective as chemical, weapons in clearing urban areas of troops and civilians - Assad has used phosphorous for this very reason.
“If Khashoggi did, in fact, have proof that Saudi Arabia was deliberately misusing phosphorous for this purpose, it would be highly embarrassing for the regime and provides the nearest motive yet as to why Riyadh may have acted when they did against him.” _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org

SIBEL EDMONDS | NOVEMBER 24, 2018
*This is an Urgent Summary Report on the Khashoggi Case. I will be following this up with a detailed article series and video reports at Newsbud. Also, at the bottom this report I have a brief status report for my amazing Newsbud Community Members, explaining my three-month absence.
After 55 days covering the Jamal Khashoggi Case, 24 X 7, on the ground, in Turkey, with over 600 reports and analyses, via my pinned thread @sibeledmonds on Twitter (due to not having access to my computers and being equipped only with one cell phone), I am ready to conclude and publicize my investigative report.
The Khashoggi Case is a massive PsyOp concocted by MI6, CIA and Mossad, with the cooperation and participation of certain high-level Saudi Government intelligence officers.
For the first 53 days of my investigation of this case, while posting reports and analyses via Twitter posts on an almost hourly-basis, I had refrained from a definitive conclusion, partly to protect my sources, but also due to fulfilling the requirement of having documents and at least two direct named (and vetted/legitimate sources).
Yesterday I broke the news on the bombshell revelations by Former Director of the Turkish Military Intelligence Services, General Ismail Hakki Pekin, via Oda TV Live Coverage on Nov 21. See the 6-min video clip below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=ftTx1saPF2I
General Pekin, an insider with a long career in Intelligence who has high-level contacts and sources within MI6, CIA and Mossad, made the following statements (Summary Translation) while risking severe backlash from the government here in Turkey:
There has been intense behind the scenes competition between the UK and US over ARAMCO and it’s coming IPO, scheduled for 2020, via either the London or New York Stock Exchange (Many billions of dollars’ worth)
Jamal Khashoggi was/is very close to certain ARAMCO Board Members, and has been a prize sought by both US and UK players due to his connections
UK (MI6) concocted the plans (or fakery) to kidnap Khashoggi
The CIA and Mossad got involved in this UK plot
The Fiancé was some sort of honeytrap most likely connected to MI6, or possibly the CIA, and is not who “they” claim she is- not genuine
They may have selected Turkey as a secondary target to damage its reputation- With the US aiming to set up a Kurdish State in Northern Syria and the possibility of ending its alliance with Turkey
I’ve been seeking a second legitimate “Named” source for the above information, which I had already gathered weeks prior to General Pekin’s revelations. On November 1, a trustable source, a newspaper editor and investigative journalist with history and expertise in Intelligence matters in Turkey, Ergun Diler, based on multiple high-level Intel sources, leaked explosive informationrevealed by General Pekin with added details and specifics- See translated summary highlights:
The behind-the-scenes clash between the US and Britain has shaken the foundations of global intelligence.
On September 11, 2018, MI6 intercepted Saudi communications pertaining to plans to kidnap or eliminate Khashoggi. They notified the CIA and had three meetings in connection with these intercepted plans.
MI6 also sensed that the CIA might actually be a participant in Khashoggi plans intercepted from Saudi communications
On September 15, MI6 actually contacted Khashoggi and warned him of the plans against him (possible kidnap or elimination in Turkey) by the Saudis. Khashoggi was fully briefed, and was aware of the plans.
Why would Khashoggi go to the Saudi Consulate despite being warned of the plans weeks in advance?
Since no body (or body trace) has ever been found or seen, there is the possibility of Khashoggi being alive, and the possibility of this being a joint MI6-CIA concocted game with him as an active/willing participant.
From day 5 of the case I’ve been in the position of debunking the mainstream media’s narrative and reports based on researching the case and Khashoggi comprehensively, contacting sources here in Turkey and in the United States, including former and current intelligence and law enforcement experts, insiders, and journalists’ under-pressure here in Turkey. In fact, since day one of this case, unanimously, the media has been feeding the public around the world nothing but false and concocted information.
Khashoggi is/was Not who the mainstream media has been portraying. Right from day one the media published and marketed a false portrayal of this so-called victim, and did so intentionally. Jamal Khashoggi was not a journalist. He contributed less than a handful of fluff opinion pieces for the Washington Post (Of course a newspaper with a long history of CIA partnership). He was Osama Bin Laden’s partner and confidante through out the 80s. He’s been on the CIA team since 1982. In the 90s he worked as a liaison Intel officer for Saudi-CIA cooperation. Starting in the mid-2000s he was an active Arab Spring operative for several NGOs, many of them funded by George Soros and the CIA. Pretty much everything fed by the media giving Khashoggi and his background almost a saint-like status has been false. Intentionally.
I was the first and only person to debunk the media reports on the alleged Turkish fiancé. Only a few months before coming to Turkey, Khashoggi, while still married in Saudi Arabia, married an Egyptian woman in the US/Canada, with a public and publicized wedding- a sharia wedding. I obtained the pictures of his wedding and his new wife. The media, despite being fully aware of this, omitted this fact from their coverage. How could he meet this alleged Turkish woman and get engaged to her while on honeymoon with this new wife? Then there is the background of this fiancé as an active member of the Muslim Brotherhood, her time in Egypt, and her connections to Soros-Funded Arab Spring NGOs. And let’s not forget her ever-changing story and timeline for the day Khashoggi entered the Saudi consulate. Again, for all the relevant documents, pictures, analyses and timeline on this alleged fiancé please go through my Pinned Khashoggi Thread with 600+ entries.
Instead of detailing all my Khashoggi coverage and making this a lengthy and complex article I am going to direct you to my twitter thread with hundreds of facts and analyses. In the next few days I will begin producing a series of videos talking about the case in depth.
**For my Newsbud community members and friends, after two unexpected surgeries in August I came to Turkey in September to open our Middle East-Central Asia-Caucasus hub. Why? Because we are at an historical turning point and there will be much coming up on the Iran front, Turkey, Russia … I want to be right in the middle of it all and with access to sources that I no longer can communicate with via our under-surveillance communication channels. After a roller-coaster period of recuperating, settling in a new country with a child, and finding our new office-studio, I am almost done setting up our computers, cameras, and establishing a filming team. I will have regular analyses and reports for my Probable Cause video show, but I will also begin a new series (announcement will come soon-in 2 or 3 weeks) with a very interesting theme I know you will love. I want to thank you for your patience during this unexpected absence. Those of you who can please follow my twitter posts @sibeledmonds for tons of updates daily. None of this would have been possible without your kind and generous support. You are my partners and friends, and with that I thank you all. _________________ www.lawyerscommitteefor9-11inquiry.org
