The basta#ds shut the place down!
Man well last night's meeting was on but not at Old Nick's unfortunately. The dark forces had been hard at work and while we had our backs turned running the 'Truth Ark Cinema' at the Sunrise Festival in Somerset, they shut the place down on Environmental grounds. Hell knows what reason they gave but we're looking into it. Us here at truthbristol are obviously starting to tread on some toes. Awesome!
We went for some beers and still met up so will keep you guys posted what our next move is. It's starting to get interesting.
Next meeting 2000hrs on the 18th June 2007. Location TBD. |

Pastomen, any feedback on the Sunrise festival. I was supposed to go, but....
Also, any news on this year's Truthfest?

Sunrise festival was good all round. Met loads of intersting characters but most importantly, met loads of people who didn't quite realise the gravity of the situation. We did our best to deliver the message with a smile though, in the process making a few jaws drop. There was debate with fellow 911 activists about digressing onto more controversial conspiratoral subjects on Sunday, but stimulating debate was what our shows were all about. We wanted to find out what they knew as we had already made up our minds.
As for Old Nick's, well it wasn't immaculate but neither were Sainsburys and Tescos the other day if I remember correctly? If anything it adds credence to our message so all good, except for maybe the landlord. We'll have to give him a hand getting it all ship-shape, all publicity is good publicity perhaps.
Truthfest is slowly manifestating itself as we speak but specific dates and location TBC. |
