Islamist militants entrenched in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon
are facing an ultimatum to surrender or face further military action.
Democracy Now!, the US daily alternative radio and TV show, carried
this interview – which you can also watch and listen to on the site –
with veteran investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, in which he
discusses the evidence he has found for the US government and its
allies in the Middle East backing Sunni Islamist groups such as Fatah
al-Islam, which is at the centre of the bloody battle with the Lebanese
army.
