Proposals to execute pedophiles make headway in US

Whilst I am not in any way supporting paedophiles - do we view them as 'ill' or criminals?

it does seem like a plausible solution to most people as this subject is angering and sickning.

however i think its a big mistake to think this way and makes the speaking up or coming forward of victims even harder if the abuser is someone who is known to the victim or family to the victim and they are in the knowledge that if they speak out that person will be killed.

the victims should be the first concern and anything that could stop them from speaking out and getting help is a bad thing. its easily solved without killing anyone, life imprisonment(untill they die of natural courses)
or sectioned communitys upon serving a prison term so that they cannot be released back into the public community to reoffend, places like prisons that they cannot leave but with more freedoms than prison and are put to work to earn their keep(only once there actual prison term is served).

some may disagree with me and think it is to hitlerish but killing them could give victims guilt or stop people coming forward whilst at the same time releasing them back into the public after a few years just puts others at risk.
