Interesting piece. I did a little digging on Mr Pearlman/Gadahn and could find no other source for the Watsons' important claim that: Quote: | "Pearlman was a hardcore Jewish Zionist and wrote essays and screeds bashing the Muslim faith. He even got into fights at mosques and beat up Muslim worshippers."
|
Regarding the fights, the only thing I can find is that he slapped the chairman of his Mosque, Haitham Bundakji, once and with an open hand, apparently because he felt he wasn't radical enough. That is all I could find on this.
I looked through the following links:

As far as I can see, there is no evidence in the above links for his ever having been a Zionist and only one incident (as mentioned earlier) that comes remotely close to "beating up Muslims". While this does not rule out his being an Israeli/Mossad double agent or plant, there would have to be much more than his partial Jewish ancestry and his grandfather's ADL work to make a credible case.
Of course, even if he is a "genuine" Muslim convert and not a Mossad double agent or plant he could still be being manipulated by the west or even a western double agent. _________________ "Nothing can trouble you but your own imagination." ~ Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
