Check out the size of the smallest r.f.i.d. microchip to date – they’re probably even smaller than that!

My guess is that M will be 'found' soon, followed by a huge media drive as M is microchipped. It could be like a national launch of the technology, the implantation process will be filmed and the tracking aspects will be explained ... all wrapped up in a glossy presentation.
