An event calling for Independence from America is to be held at Menwith Hill on Wed 4th July 2007 from 12 noon until 5pm. This will coincide with the arrival of the Footprints for Peace walkers. Also attending will be Mark Steel, comedian and social/political commentator, and Anas Alkitriki, spokesman, British Muslim Initiative.
