The South Lakes Citizen is a freebie weekly newspaper, which, I am told is distributed to approximately 20,000 homes in the South Lakeland area (Cumbria)

On page 6 of the edition dated 15/2/06 there is a photograph of a large poster attached to a road sign which states:-

Quote:
]9/11 EXPOSE THE COVER-UP
911Truth.org

Under the picture there is an article which is titled “9/11 sign poster was “foolhardy”.it goes as follows:- Mysterious signs promoting a website dedicated to the 9/11 tragedy in New York have sprung up at several prominent points on the M6.

The signs promoting 911truth.org have appeared at junctions 35 and 36, along with a sign proclaiming 9/11 Expose the cover up.

The group is based in the US and is dedicated according to the website to the investigation and publication of the “full truth” surrounding September 11, 2001.

The posters at junction 36 were pasted onto the direction arrows. A Highways Agency spokesman said “the act could have been dangerous for motorists and the person responsible for putting up the posters.

Road signs should never be interfered with in any way as they are there to give people directions and safety advice.

The person responsible was being extremely foolhardy at the very least” he said.

He also said that “the posters had now been removed”

As dedicated, unresourced 911 truth campaigners, ignored by the press and media, should we (a) be grateful for and support this foolhardy action (b) condone it or (c) divorce ourselves from it?

The article reached 20,000 homes.

Given the amount of foolhardy commercial signage on our roads designed to distract the driver. I would suggest that this message would convey little more than a minor subliminal seed or a moment's bemusement to the average driver, and the likelihood of a Damascus road type of revelation , leading to dangerous driving behaviour, is likely to be very rare
So a and b would best apply
Replication experimentation might be desirable
Good one
