Griffins fighting Phoenixes in the War on Freedom

First there was David Ray Griffin, then there was Webster Griffin Tarpley and now they've been joined by Ben Griffin ex SAS soldier.

Many people believe that the Phoenix (as seen on the dollar and on the top of a gigantic column in the back of Prince Charles' garden) symbolises the return of the mystery religion Egyptian sun-worshippers to destroy the Jewish/Christian/Muslim God for ever.

Is it merely a coincidence then, that in several ancient traditions, mythical bird the 'Griffin' fights with mythical beast the 'Phoenix' for the affections of the top Heraldic bloodlines who think they are destined to rule the world?

There's something out there in the popular consciousness, certainly.

I'd originally thought the song was some humdrum lover-leavin' journey to some hick town in Arizona, but maybe Jim Webb's 'By the Time I Get Two Phoenix' (made popular by Glen Campbell) is about some impossible mystical quest instead.

You could also add BNP leader Nick Griffin, who is sometimes to be found fighting those in the BNP, such as Russell Green, who believe in 9/11 'truth'.
