how could this building be partially destroyed...a clean cut is evident like somone had sliced it with a cheese cutter...or laser type weaponry?

Probably about 250,000 tons of rubble from WTC1 & 2.

Explosives are MUCH cheaper and FAR simpler than Lasers!
