Far too much swearing for me - some great jokes but utterly marred.
BTW I'm changing the headline of this thread too. I'm fed up with people effing and blinding ... then calling it humour.
I'm also suspicious - is the presenter a real person?
Yes. The style and delivery is original and singular. 'tis only the Utube compression that makes Deke look a bit like Max Headroom. I am a bit old-fash in some ways but I find nothing offensive in any of Deke's work. _________________ Belief is the Enemy of Truth www.dissential.com

Swearing is nothing but words, be offended or not, your choice, they are just words, the media tells you if they are 'bad' or not _________________ "The people will believe what the media tells them they believe." George Orwell

I've just watched it for the first time and: love it.
Of course it's satire, but many a true word is said in such ways. As for swearing: I could only detect one word, though that often repeated. I believe I'm not allowed to spell it in full on this forum but it contains FKN. In fact it is not strictly a "swear-word" as it is not an oath like: God, Jaysus, zounds and bloody, which are not generally considered so offensive these days because our society is now obsessed with sex rather than religion.
The BBC who do allow such words to be broadcast after 9pm GMT refer to such words as "strong language". If that is "strong language", is a failure to use such words "weak language"?
The funny thing is that what words are considered taboo in a culture depends on that culture's obsessions. In Canadian French, a highly Roman Catholic population uses the word "tabernac" when they want to shock. I believe it refers to the blessed wafers which some Catholics consider to be the body of Christ.
In Carribean English, the most taboo, shocking words are about menstruation.
All of which I find hilarious and a bit sad, because it's not the words that matter but the message. What does constant repetition of FKN imply? I'm young? I'm angry? I'm hip?
Perhaps all of those.
People have a right to feel angry about these things and should be able to express it.
