Sir Christopher Moran, deputy chief of the Air Force, dies during triathlon

The deputy chief of the Royal Air Force and former equerry to the Duke of Edinburgh, collapsed and died yesterday during a charity triathlon competition.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Christopher Moran, 54, is believed to have suffered heart failure while completing the running stage of the event at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The father of three, who oversaw all air operations in the RAF, was pronounced dead at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
