In 1941 General William Donovan's covert psywar responsibilities included covert psychological warfare within the uniformed Office of Strategic Services (O.S.S). [1] In 1943 the OSS released a top secret psychological report written on Adolph Hitler. The psychologist leading the study was Dr. Walter Langer. Dr. Walter Langer's brother was William L. Langer, Special Branch Chief of the Office of Strategic Services. William L. Langer was also one of the editors of the first English version of Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf. The English version of Mein Kampf appeared in 1939. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf in 1923. Members of the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the Council on Foreign Relations were reading English Translations of Mein Kampf many years before they presented it to the American public. One of William L. Langer's co-editors was George N. Shuster. Langer and Shuster were Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies' Peace Aims Group members from 1941-1945. Another member of this group was Arthur Sweetser, the Deputy director of the Office of War Information. Sweetser and Langer also worked together as members of the Political Group with John Foster Dulles. Another member of the Peace and Aims Group was Allen W. Dulles, John's brother. General Donovan and Allen Dulles made a career of trying to have the Director of Central Intelligence assigned to the Office of the President.[2]
The Division of Special Research of the Department of State was organized like the Council on Foreign Relations Peace and Aims Group. The Peace and Aims Group gathered information about particular nations or groups of nations using the Buchanan-Cantril "Adjective Check-list." -- so did the Division of Special Research. These groups sent this information of different people's aims and aspirations to the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton University. This information was given to Cantril and others studying policy-research, and psychological warfare techniques. Cantril and his colleagues would script psycho-political PSYOPs from what they learned and evaluate the effectiveness of the PSYOPs .Federal Broadcast Intelligence Service would be broadcast the propaganda to peoples of target nations throughout the world. The psycho-political operations were used to deceive people in other nations including allies nations. The British played a willing part in the psycho-political operations, as evidenced by their liaison with the Federal Broadcast Intelligence Service.
In 1939 Shuster was one of ten editorial sponsors of Mein Kampf. The other sponsors were: John Chamberlain, Sidney B. Fay, John Gunther, Carlton J. H. Hayes, Graham Hutton, Alvin Johnson, William L. Langer, Walter Millis, and Raoul de Roussy de Sales. Shuster's co-editor William L. Langer was a professor and a psychologist. William L. Langer was the OSS branch chief for Research and Analysis. While in the OSS William L. Langer worked with Council on Foreign Relations member William H. Jackson. Their OSS research included "indirect assessment." "Indirect assessment" was a way of evaluating a man's personality or state of mind without direct interview by a psychologist. Professor William Langer was applying this technique to produce profiles on key political figures. One of the figures Langer's study focused on was Adolph Hitler. Langer published an OSS psychological profile of Hitler. "Indirect assessment" was also used to help in assessing the reliability of foreign agents. Data analyzed included physical appearance, dress, manner, speech, habits, social and political attitudes.[3]
The introduction to Mein Kampf tells us,"... Mein Kampf is a propagandistic essay by a violent partisan. As such it often warps historical truth and sometimes ignores it completely. We have, therefore, felt it our duty to accompany the text with factual information which constitutes an extensive critique of the original. No American would like to assume responsibility for giving the public a text which, if not tested in the light of diligent inquiry, might convey the impression that Hitler was writing history rather than propaganda.. "[4] The editors of Mein Kampf, including Intelligence Agents Shuster and Langer, were either misdirecting the reader or woefully misinformed about the psychological warfare techniques being employed by State Department Officials, and the Office of Strategic Services, and Military Intelligence Units. Among the sleight of mind techniques employed were warping historical truth and often ignoring it completely.
Langer (March 16, 1896-December 26, 1977) was a key figure in the intelligence community. As a soldier in World War I he rose from private to sergeant, and participated in the St. Mihiel and Argonne engagements. A member of the Board of Analysts, Office of Coordinator of Information (1941-42); chief of Research and Analysis Branch, Office of Strategic Services (1942-1945), special assistant for intelligence analysis to the Secretary of State (1946); and assistant director of the CIA (1950-52). After 1952 Langer served as a consultant to the CIA. Langer spent thirty years dealing with the problems and organization of foreign intelligence including nine years on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory board (1961-1979). In his presidential address to the American Historical Association (1957) Langer emphasized the need for deeper study and more extensive reference by historians to the teachings of modern psychology. In his early Langer was a fellow at the Center for Advance Study in Behavioral Sciences at Stanford. Langer's first significant book was The Diplomacy of Imperialism (1935). His view was that Hitler's Mein Kampf was an extraordinary medley of amateur politics and amazing insights into international problems and possibilities, and that Hitler "showed reckless courage in realizing the German dreams, nightmarish as some of therm were." [5]
Shuster (August 27, 1894-January 25, 1977) was a journalist that enlisted and served in France as a sergeant in Army Intelligence. Shuster was of German heritage and was not enthusiastic about the war. After the war he was in the army of occupation in Germany. He studied at the University of Poitiers in France. Shuster admired the German culture and sympathized with Germany's economic problems after Word War I. In The his book The Germans (1932), he glibly dismissed the "ideas" of Adolf Hitler as "no more commendable for wisdom or practicableness than are the notions of the average United States Senator." Shuster began to change his views towards Hitler in 1934 and denounced the Nazi's assaults on individual and religious freedom. During World War II Shuster served on the Enemy Alien Board. When the war began in 1945 Secretary of War Henry Stimson ordered an "evacuation" of all Japanese, alien and American alike, from the coastal regions of California. Stimson remarked that the evacuation made an awful hole in the constitution but he had to do it on the grounds of safety of the nation and out of military necessity. The Japanese, alien and American alike, were "rationalized" into concentration camps. Oddly enough, Stimson didn't rationalize that the Germans, alien and American alike be "rationalized" into concentration camps. Did the Japanese "evacuation" recommendation come from the Enemy Alien Board? Did this recommendation include only a Japanese "evacuation" because the board was made up of a group of subtle fascists, and racial supremacists that approved the ethic cleansing being practiced by Adolph Hitler? A group of subtle fascists that were members of the Council on Foreign Relations? A group of subtle fascists who had infiltrated Hitler's Nazi party, not to destroy it, but to bring it to power, to justify a second World War?[6]
Were Army Intelligence Officers George Nauman Shuster and William L. Langer ( both member's of the Council on Foreign Relations Peace and Aims Group ) editing Mein Kampf as part of Donovan's study? A study that included researcher's Hadley Cantril and Gerard Lambert. Researchers who believed there was nothing wrong in giving the American public a message -- which, if not tested in the light of diligent inquiry, would indeed convey the impression that the author was writing history and fact rather than propaganda -- creating for the reader or listener a false "reality world" which would deceive the listener into going along with a policy they might not have otherwise sanctioned.
Did the Office of Strategic Services put up funds for getting Mein Kampf, translated, published and marketed in the United States. Was disseminating Mein Kampf, part of a psycho-political operation? Mein Kampf was written in 1923. The US and British Intelligence were aware of Hitler and his fascist organizations for years. Why did these groups wait until 1939 to make Hitler's Mein Kampf available to English Speaking peoples? Why weren't covert-operations carried out to prevent Hitler's rise to power? Was this information withheld so Hitler could take power? Was this done to help Hitler take power to provide the World with an enemy they could hate and loath; an enemy they would willingly fight a World War against?
Were American Council on Foreign Relations and British Royal Institute of International Affairs members aware of Mein Kampf for many years. Were English translations of this book available American and British Round Table members as early on as 1923 when it was published in Germany? Did American and British Intelligence agents infiltrate the National Socialist German Worker's party and help Hitler write Mein Kampf?
The National Socialist German Worker's party was founded on November 9, 1919. Hitler writes in the Conclusion to Mein Kampf, "On November 9, 1923, in the fourth year of its existence, the National Socialist German Worker's Party was dissolved and forbidden throughout the entire territory of the Reich. Today, in November of 1926, it stands again before us, free through the whole Reich, stronger and internally more stable than ever before." [7] Evidently the German people caught on to the evil nature of Hitler and tried to do something about it. Did British and American Round Table group members hold back the publication of Mein Kampf in other countries so the German people wouldn't receive support from other nations and Hitler could overcome the resistance of his countrymen and rise to power? Did British and American intelligence agents left in Germany after World War I bring Hitler to power as part of a Council on Foreign Relations plan to cause a second World War?
Hardly one person in 1000 ever heard of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
The Council on Foreign Relations was formally established in Paris in 1919 along with its British Counterpart the Royal Institute of International Affairs. The Council on Foreign Relations and Royal Institute of International Affairs can trace their roots back to a secret organization founded and funded by Cecil Rhodes, who became fabulously wealthy by exploiting the people of South Africa. Rhodes is the father of Apartheid.
Many of the American members were American intelligence officers that belonged to the first American Intelligence Agency -- THE INQUIRY. Many of the British members were British Intelligence Agents. THE INQUIRY and its members, who included such notable Americans as Col. Edward Mandel House, Walter Lippmann, Isaiah Bowman, and James Shotwell, wrote most of Woodrow Wilson's 14 points. T he INQUIRY members attended the Paris Peace conference and traded off most of the Fourteen Points to establish the League of Nations. Wilson was so disturbed by the INQUIRY's betrayal he suffered a stroke and physical collapse and refused to speak to his influential advisor INQUIRY member Edward House ever again. The American people refused to join the League of Nations, because they did not want to belong to an organization that could force America to go to war and whose intent was to be an international police force.
The CFR/RIIA method of operation is simple -- they control public opinion. They keep the identity of their group secret. They learn the likes and dislikes of influential people. They surround and manipulate them into acting in the best interest of the CFR/RIIA.
The Council on Foreign Relations, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs are adept at using the media to create massive psycho-political operations used to manipulate public opinion. The psycho-political operations are often designed to create tensions between different groups of people. The object is to keep the world in a state of perpetual tension and warfare to maximize profits from CFR/RIIA munition, medicine, media, energy, and food businesses.
The CFR has only 3000 members yet they control over three-quarters of the nations wealth. The CFR runs the State Department and the CIA. The CFR has placed 100 CFR members in every Presidential Administration since Woodrow Wilson. They work together to misinform and disinform the President to act in the best interest of the CFR not the best interest of the American People. At least five Presidents (Eisenhower, Ford, Carter, Bush, and Clinton) have been members of the CFR. The CFR has packed every Supreme court with CFR insiders. Three CFR members (Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Sandra Day O'Connor) sit on the supreme court. The CFR's British Counterpart is the Royal Institute of International Affairs. The members of these groups profit by creating tension and hate. Their targets include British and American citizens.
The 100 CFR members that surround the president are "the Secret Team." The "Secret Team" help carry out psycho-political operations scripted by CFR members in the state department and the Intelligence Organizations. The psycho-political operations are coordinated by a group of Council on Foreign Relations members called the Special Group. The Special Group evolved from the Psychological Strategy Board.
President Truman issued an executive order establishing the Psychological Strategy Board. The Board was run by CFR members Gordon Gray and Henry Kissinger. The PSB has close ties to the State Department and Intelligence Organizations. The purpose of the PSB was to co-ordinate psycho-political operations. Many of those operations were focused at Americans. The people became wary of the Psychological Strategy Board. Eisenhower issued an executive order changing its name to the Operations Coordination Board. The OCB was a bigger more powerful PSB. Gray and Kissinger ran the OCB too. President Kennedy abolished the OCB. It became an ad hoc committee called the "Special Group," which exists today. The PSB/OCB/Special Group always has CFR members running and sitting on it. Since the Special Group was not formed by Executive Order it cannot be abolished.
On September 12, 1939, the Council on Foreign Relations began to take control of the Department of State. On that day Hamilton Fish Armstrong, Editor of Foreign Affairs, and Walter H. Mallory, Executive Director of the Council on Foreign Relations, paid a visit to the State Department. The Council proposed forming groups of experts to proceed with research in the general areas of Security, Armament, Economic, Political, and Territorial problems. The State Department accepted the proposal. The project (1939-1945) was called Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies. Hamilton Fish Armstrong was Executive director.
In February 1941 the CFR officially became part of the State Department. The Department of State established the Division of Special Research. It was organized just like the Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies project. It was divided into Economic, Political, Territorial, and Security Sections. The Research Secretaries serving with the Council groups were hired by the State Department to work in the new division. These men also were permitted to continue serving as Research Secretaries to their respective Council groups. Leo Pasvolsky was appointed Director of Research.
In 1942 the relationship between the Department of State and the Council on Foreign Relations strengthened again. The Department organized an Advisory Committee on Postwar Foreign Policies. The Chairman was Secretary Cordell Hull, the vice chairman, Under Secretary Sumner Wells, Dr. Leo Pasvolsky ( director of the Division of Special Research) was appointed Executive Officer. Several experts were brought in from outside the Department. The outside experts were Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies members; Hamilton Fish Armstrong, Isaiah Bowman, Benjamin V. Cohen, Norman H. Davis, and James T. Shotwell.
In total there were 362 meetings of the War and Peace Studies groups. The meetings were held at Council on Foreign Relations headquarters -- the Harold Pratt house, Fifty-Eight East Sixty-Eighth Street, New York City. The Council's wartime work was confidential.17
In 1944 members of the Council on Foreign Relations The War and Peace Studies Political Group were invited to be active members at the Dumbarton Oaks conference on world economic arrangements. In 1945 these men and members of Britain's Royal Institute of International Affairs were active at the San Francisco conference which ensured the establishment of the United Nations.
In 1947 Council on Foreign Relations members George Kennan, Walter Lippmann, Paul Nitze, Dean Achenson, and Walter Krock took part in a psycho-political operation forcing the Marshall Plan on the American public. The PSYOP included a "anonymous" letter credited to a Mr. X, which appeared in the Council on Foreign Relations magazine FOREIGN AFFAIRS. The letter opened the door for the CFR controlled Truman administration to take a hard line against the threat of Soviet expansion. George Kennan was the author of the letter. The Marshall Plan should have been called the Council on Foreign Relations Plan. The so-called Marshall Plan and the ensuing North Atlantic Treaty Organization defined the role of the United States in world politics for the rest of the century.
In 1950 another PSYOP resulted in NSC-68, a key cold war document. The NSC (National Security Council) didn't write it -- the Department of State Policy Planning Staff did. The cast of characters included CFR members George Kennan, Paul Nitze, and Dean Achenson. NSC-68 was given to Truman on April 7, 1950. NSC-68 was a practical extension of the Truman doctrine. It had the US assume the role of world policeman and use 20 per cent of its gross national product ($50 billion in 1953) for arms. NSC-68 provided the justification -- the WORLD WIDE COMMUNIST THREAT!
NSC-68 realized a major Council on Foreign Relations aim -- building the largest military establishment in Peace Time History. Within a year of drafting NSC-68, the security-related budget leaped to $22 billion, armed forces manpower was up to a million -- CFR medicine, munition, food, and media businesses were humming again. The following year the NSC-68 budget rose to $44 billion. In fiscal 1953 it jumped to $50 billion. Today (1997) we are still running $300 billion dollar defense budgets despite Russia giving up because it went bankrupt.
America would never turn back from the road of huge military spending. Spending that included the purchase of radioactive fallout on American citizens in the 50's, and buying thermonuclear waste from the Russians as we approach the year 2000. Spending resulting in a national debt of $5.5 Trillion Dollars that continues to grow, and interest payments of over $270 billion a year. Is the Council on Foreign Relations trying to make the United States economically vulnerable to influence from outside sources? Isn't that treason?
THE INQUIRY, the PSB/OCB/Special group, the War and Peace Studies, the "X" Affair, and NSC-68 have had tremendous historical impact. Yet these events and the role played by the Council on Foreign Relations in sponsoring and carrying out the events are missing from our History books. You represent the people. Can you explain to me why the Council on Foreign Relations role in History has been left out of the History books? Why don't we learn about them in High School History courses? Why don't History majors in college learn about the Council on Foreign Relations?

These books are written or edited or contributed to by Council on Foreign Relations members and insiders. The Council on Foreign Relations is leaving proof so some Historian can piece together the truth sometime in the future. By the time this happens there may be no more America.
WHO'S RUNNING AMERICA? INSTITUTIONAL LEADERSHIP IN THE UNITED STATES, Thomas R. Dye, Prentice-Hall 1976 is a well documented study of Council on Foreign Relations links to the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government; the media; the largest law firms; the largest private foundations; the prestigious universities; and the military. The study and book grew out of a graduate seminar at Florida State University on "Research on Power and Elites" in 1972. Biographical data for over 5000 institutional elites was collected and coded by students. Major contributions were made by John W. Pickering, Political Science Professor, Memphis State University, Eugene R. DEClercq, Assistant Professor Political Science, George Washington University; and G. Edward Weston, Assistant Professor of Journalism at the University of Florida. If the study were repeated today, many of the names of the elite in leading positions would change. What would not change would be the fact that the elites in the studyand the elites in power today are Council on Foreign Relations members.
The way the CFR works is clearly explained by Lippmann. Lippmann was a member of America's first intelligence organization the INQUIRY, attended the Paris Peace Conference after World War I, and was a founding father of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Central to Lippmann's strategy of achieving government and international relations policy aims were large scale psycho-political operations aimed at the masses. The early work of Lippmann, and another leading pioneer in the field of psychological warfare, Harold Lasswell, were funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Not coincidentally the governments national security campaigns usually overlapped the commercial ambitions of Council on Foreign Relations and Institute of International Affairs controlled industries. The Carnegie Corporation and Ford Foundation were principal secondary sources of large-scale communication research funding, operating in close coordination with government propaganda and intelligence programs.
Lippmann was the INQUIRY's secretary. Lippmann became the INQUIRY's chief propaganda and intelligence specialist, and then its director. Lippmann shaped psychological strategy during the war. After the war Lippmann played a major role in the integration of psycho-political operations and psychological strategy into the social sciences in the field of communications research. Lippmann's major works are "PUBLIC OPINION" (1922), and "THE PHANTOM PUBLIC (1925)." Both works investigate the impact of mass communication on society. Both works are based on Lippmann's INQUIRY experiences.
Chapter I, of Lippmann's book, PUBLIC OPINION is titled "The World Outside and the Pictures in Our Heads." Lippmann, writes,
"This then, will be the clue to our inquiry. We shall assume that what each man does is based not on direct and certain knowledge, but on pictures made by himself or given to him. If his atlas tells him that the world is flat he will not sail near what he believes to be the edge of our planet for fear of falling off. If his maps include a fountain of eternal youth, a Ponce de Leon will go in quest of it. If someone digs up yellow dirt that looks like gold, he will for a time act exactly as if he had found gold. The way in which the world is imagined determines at any particular moment what men will do. It does not determine what they will achieve. It determines their effort, their feelings, their hopes, not their accomplishments and results. The very men who most loudly proclaim their "materialism" and their contempt for "ideologues," the Marxian communists, place their entire hope on what? On the formulation by propaganda of a class-conscious group. But what is propaganda, if not the effort to alter the picture to which men respond, to substitute one social pattern for another? What is class consciousness but a way of realizing the world? National consciousness but another way? And Professor Giddings' consciousness of kind [ i.e. stereotypes ], but a process of believing that we recognize among the multitude certain ones marked as our kind?"14
Lippmann's conclusion is,
"I argue that representative government, either in what is ordinarily called politics, or in industry, cannot be worked successfully, no matter what the basis of election, unless there is an independent, expert organization for making the unseen facts intelligible to those who have to make the decisions...My conclusion is that public opinions must be organized for the press if they are to be sound, not by the press as is the case today. This organization I conceive to be in the first instance the task of a political science that has won its proper place as formulator, in advance of real decision, instead of apologist, critic, or reporter after the decision has been made..."
Lippmann is advocating the creation of a totalitarian state. If one small group is permitted to control public opinion, that small group can use their power to benefit the aims of the group rather than the public at large. People's actions are strongly influenced by their knowledge base. People act on their beliefs. By corrupting a persons knowledge base you can manipulate their actions.
Lippmann presents a graphic view of what a society controlled by an "independent, expert organization" would become. It is presented as a preface to his book, contained in a quote from the Republic of Plato, Book Seven,
"Behold! human beings living in a sort of underground den, which has a mouth open towards the light and reaching all across the den; they have been here from their childhood, and have their legs and necks chained so that they cannot move, and can only see before them; for the chains are arranged in such a manner as to prevent them from turning round their heads. At a distance above and behind them the light of a fire is blazing, and between the fire and the prisoners there is a raised way; and you will see, if you look, a low wall built along the way, like the screen which marionette players have before them, over which they show the puppets.
I see, he said.
And do you see, I said, men passing along the wall carrying vessels, which appear over the wall; also figures of men and animals, made of wood and stone and various materials; and some of the prisoners, as you would expect, are talking, and some of them are silent.
This is a strange image, he said, and they are strange prisoners.
Like ourselves, I replied; and they see only their own shadows, or the shadows of one another, which the fire throws on the opposite wall of the cave?
True, he said: how could they see anything but the shadows if the were never allowed to move their heads?
And of the objects which are being carried in like manner they would see only the shadows?
Yes, he said.
And if they were able to talk with one another, would they not suppose that they were naming what was actually before them?"
A society controlled by a "independent, expert organization," arranging chains of bondage from childhood by corrupting the societies knowledge base, and deciding what shadows to project on the wall, would be a society of prisoners that couldn't use their heads to act in their own best interest. They would become a society of slaves living in a realm of fear.
The Council on Foreign Relations is the "independent, expert organization" Lippmann is advocating.
CFR member Congressman Richard Gephardt (D-MO), recently informed the TV audience America will soon have to relinquish control to a "International Regime." Are we approaching the day when students and workers marching in the United States will be crushed by UN Peacekeeping Forces under the control of this International Regime? Who will control the Regime? The Council on Foreign Relations? Should a major political party consider someone willing to turn our country over to a "International Regime" a possible presidential candidate?

Chatham House is very close to CFR and Bilderberg having the same roots in Cecil Rhodes' roundtable groups. Bilderberg was spawned at the CFR in 1942/3.

Many interesting things are hidden underground. In Odessa,Ukraine, man-made caves are scattered across the region and are two and a half thousand kilometers long. These so-called catacombs were home to partisan bases during World War II. In Vladivostok – the main Russian military naval base in the Far East – engineers built a fortress at the beginning of the 20th century. Also, the largest underground Russian church is hidden in Penza.

The Hidden Persuaders who want a wider war

A one sided view of the Syria conflict is being presented nightly in the UK and the West on all major news channels.
Suddenly the terrorists are not terrorists but freedom fighters and Al Quaeda are our friends & allies.
Strange to see, Foreign Secretary William Hague is withdrawing embassy staff and recognising terrorists as the legitimate government.
Lots of us in the UK who follow such things are wondering why the mainstream media is - like in the case of Iraq's Weapons Of Mass Destruction - so disconnected from the views of ordinary people who do not want conflict & international law.
Meanwhle reports continue to filter through that NATO powers and Israel may be aiding the rebels in Syria and have military force and expertise on the ground as well as by remote control.
How can it be that British Foreign policy is so out of step with international law and public opinion?
The answer may lie in St James' Square in Picadlilly, London..At Chatham House, the Royal Institute of Internatonal Affairs.
This is where British private power and corporate wealth interface with Foreign policy. This is where the financial insttutions have their voice in Foreign Affairs and that is a voice even better funded and louder that that of the Foreign Office itsself.
Through its regular conferences and two magazines, The World Today for the down-market and International Affairs for the up-market reader those who follow market trends know which side their bread is buttered. They follow the opinions and advice of these publications knowing that if they do so they will be going with the elite 'groupthink', be more socially acceptable in elite society and may even gain financially by being seen to be 'in the know'.
The Royal Insttute for International Affairs Chatham House rule is known round the world for its ability to help transmit ideas round the world to opinion formers at the speed of light with no recipient knowing what to think but having no idea who put that thought into their head.
The BBC indeed is signed up as a coprorate member of Chatham house and regularly presents their 'experts' as if they are impartial. They are not, they network with arms contractors and disaster capitalists, the very people who stand to gain financially from the sort of illegal, extreme foreign intervention that could even bring world war on the road to ever greater profits.
Which may explain why so many now in Britain see Syria's president Assad is evil. Why we must have regime change in Syria and access to the country's resources as if they were our own.
Why Al-Quaeda are now not our enemy but our allies. The CFR is a private group not affiliated with the U.S. government, but made to look that way. Just as the “Federal Reserve,” the name “Council on Foreign Relations” sounds official to the unsuspecting ear, and they even print a magazine called “Foreign Affairs” to help pacify the organization in the public mind. But the truth is, the CFR is not a council belonging to the U.S. government and is, in fact, a secret society masquerading as an official organization. If they called it “Republicrats for World Government” or “Demopublican Global Governance Group” then the herd might notice. Even if they called it “the American Royal Institute for International Affairs” the sheeple might raise an eyebrow. This is the same reason our American leaders are called Presidents and not Prime Ministers, even though they are all royalty.
Admiral Chester Ward, was a US Judge Advocate General of the Navy and CFR member for sixteen years. He said the purpose of the CFR was “promoting disarmament and the submergence of US sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government.” In his book, “Kissinger on the Couch,” Ward wrote, “(the) … lust to surrender the sovereignty and independence of the United States is pervasive throughout most of the membership, and particularly in the leadership of several divergent cliques that make up what is actually a polycentric organization.”

Nearly every U.S. President since its inception has been a CFR member. Even the non-CFR Presidents have had administrations full of members. For instance Ronald Reagan wasn’t a CFR member, but his Vice President George Bush was CFR, and so were 28 members of his transition team alone. George W. Bush is not a CFR member either, but his father and uncle are, his Vice President Dick Cheney is, and his administration is swarming with them. At the founding meeting of the United Nations there were 74 CFR members. The Clinton administration had over 100 CFR members. The Nixon administration had over 115 CFR members all in key Executive branch positions, most of whom continued through the Ford years, and a few of whom are still in power today.
The Council on Foreign Relations (like Skull and Bones) always promotes candidates from both the Democrat and Republican parties, thus ensuring a win for the New World Order. In 1952 and 1956 CFR “Republican” Dwight Eisenhower ran against CFR “Democrat” Adlai Stevenson. In 1960 it was CFR-Republican Richard Nixon against CFR-Democrat John F. Kennedy. In 1964 neither candidate was CFR, but Barry Goldwater was a Freemason, and Lyndon Johnson’s administration was full of CFR members. The CFR owns the monopoly market on both Presidents and Presidential candidates. The only two 2008 candidates not belonging to secret societies or in favor of a New World Order are/were Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.

Just take a look at the articles and you'll see the writers are not credible, the publications simply PR propaganda organs for Israel and NATO.

Chatham House Takes Option on Expansion

Chatham House has purchased the ground floor of Ames House, an adjacent property, as part of a multi-year plan that will enable the institute to respond to the increasing demand for its research and convening capacity and to facilitate a planned increase in the number of Visiting Fellows it will host in the future.
The institute has taken a 999-year lease on the ground floor of Ames House in Duke of York Street adjacent to 9-10 St James's Square. Chatham House currently rents the second floor of Ames House as office space for research staff and owns the building's basement in which the Joseph Gaggero Hall is situated. In the coming months, the institute will also extend the current 125-year lease of the basement, which has 97 years remaining, to a 999-year lease to match that of the ground floor.
Based in London, one of the world's first global capitals, Chatham House hosts debates and offers research and ideas to address the growing number of challenges that transcend borders and affect governments and societies today.
Robin Niblett, Director, said, 'The institute is building on its location in the heart of London. The opportunity to acquire space directly adjacent to our historic home at 10 St James's Square means that we will be able to offer a wider range of integrated analysis, insights and solutions to our constituencies. We will also be able to increase the number of young leaders who we can host at the institute from across the world and who will represent the more inclusive responses necessary for a safe and prosperous future.'
Demand for the institute's work has grown significantly in the past five years and we now have 120 staff, plus Visiting and Associate Fellows and others in the building (in 2007 the institute employed 72 people). In a nutshell they have bought the 'lease' from themselves to include in their operational expenditure. How can a 999-year lease be enforced? Legally speaking? The only other buildings to have leases on them for that long are government buildings - which even have 'Facility' or 'Property Management' overheads. Tax payers can swallow these 'fees' up. They don't need to exist. Just more private limited companies sponging from the UK taxpayer.

Folks, what i am trying to say is to watch out for the frequency of these impromptu and 'off the cuff' meetings to sprout up left right and centre. Wouldn't be surprised if CP are behind a 'merger' come business partnership/strategy with Chatham House.
They are ramping up their meetings, they plan more but why? What is the underlying issue behind this? Why now all of a sudden? Why the huge demand? Meetings on their terms, on their own turf/soil for 999-years! I am very confused...
To clarify Chatham House Rule is not 'law' nor is it 'lawful' or 'legal'. Certainly not with public sector workers doing business behind closed doors. This isn't a 'COBRA' Meeting. Nor is it the 'Official Secrets Act'. WTF are they hiding now? What CP doesn't tell you is how info is collated and could be a forum for so called 'insider trading'. Think of various acquisions and mergers about to take place... market manipulation, that sort of stuff. Like betting on a winning horse, when you know the odds and outcome are in your favour.

A few decades ago, politicians hatched a Tom Friedman-esque idea to unite U.S. and Western Europe. Did it succeed?

The idea of a country seems pretty simple. I live in America, and I’m an American. She lives in France, and she is French. The Americans have a president who is their leader, the British have a prime minister, the French have their own president, and so forth.
But the way political decision-making around security issues ricochets around the world, from Western capital to Western capital, is making a mockery of commonly held conceptions of national sovereignty. In recent weeks, a British parliament vote on Syria forced the U.S. president to seek authorization from Congress, while leaked documents detailed extensive cooperation between the intelligence services of the U.S. and other nations. The president of Bolivia was forced to down his plane by Italy and France, just because he joked about having Edwards Snowden on board. And so on, and so forth.
This all demands the question: Why do we hold the conception that we live in separate nation-states? Well, it turns out that this question was actually asked after World War II, and the answer American leaders came up with was … we shouldn’t.
In fact, Western elites in America and Western Europe after World War II made a serious effort to get rid of nations altogether, and combine all “freedom-loving peoples” into one giant “Atlantic Union,” a federal state built on top of the NATO military alliance.
As odd as it sounds, the documentary evidence is clear. This movement did manage to create a “European Union,” which came from the same ideological wellspring as the “Atlantic Union.” Once we recognize that the Cold War saw the construction of a powerful international regime that explicitly sought to get rid of sovereign nations, these broad security architectures revealed by the Syria situation and the NSA spying revelations make a lot more sense.

The Round Table
The idea of a society throughout the world working for federal union fascinated Milner as it had fascinated Rhodes.

These secretive organizations mostly operate under "Chatham House Rules," an unwritten code (respected by journalists) referring to a forum in which individuals with "status position" can express their personal views confidentially, without future attribution or risk to their reputation, on certain occasions. One such formed in 1910 under the leadership of "Rothschilds" was the Round Table, which was named after a quarterly journal brought out that year. The idea was taken from the legend of King Arthur and his Knights. It originated in a secret group established in South Africa in 1891 by Cecil Rhodes. An "Inner Circle of Initiates," "the Society of the Elect," included: Rhodes; Milner (who was appointed as the main trustee to carry out the terms of Rhodes' last will); Balfour; Nathan, Lord Rothschild; Arnold Toynbee; and Lord Grey. An Outer Circle, "the Association of Helpers," was established by Milner between 19°9 and 1913 as the Round Table. This was divided into an Inner Circle that included Arnold Toynbee, and an Outer Circle.
After 1902 it was funded out of the diamond fortune of "Rothschilds" protege Cecil Rhodes, who expanded British rule in Southern and Central Africa. In his first will, made in 1877 while he was an undergraduate, he left a fortune he had not yet made to the colonial secretary to found a secret society that would work for "the extension of British rule throughout the world ..., the foundation of so great a power as to hereafter render wars impossible and promote the interests of humanity." At Oxford University Rhodes had been taught by John Ruskin that Ruskin's elite students should eventually lead mankind, which would benefit from their rule. In his third will he left his wealth to N athan Mayer, Lord Rothschild who, for strategic reasons was replaced by Lord Rosebery in the seventh will. Lord Rosebery (who was British Prime Minister in 1894-5) had married into the Rothschild family in 1878 (his wife Hannah was the daughter of Mayer Rothschild). 5 Rhodes's intention was that the £3m fund he left in 1902 should promote the concept of globalism and one-world government, and it set up the Rhodes Scholarships, whose beneficiaries have included Dean Rusk (US Secretary of State throughout the 1960s), Senator Fulbright, and President Bill Clinton.
The Round Table had come together at a time of rapid revolution in communications. The development of flight, which was demonstrated by the Wright brothers in 1903 and led less than a dozen years later to planes flying in the First World War, together with the development of wireless radio made the problem of great distances surmountable and a new round of pressure for world government seemed timely. The goal of the Round Table was "nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole" - in other words, a one-world government controlled by the international bankers. They saw England as an Atlantic power, not a European power and hoped for a federation of the English-speaking world." ...
Milner (who believed that men should strive to build the Kingdom of Heaven here upon this earth, and that the leadership in that task must fall first and foremost upon the English-speaking peoples") spread the Round Table groups to South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and the US. They were all controlled from England, and their members included the most prominent politicians of the British government, all of whom were dedicated to a one-world government. The Round Table is referred to, by both participants and outsiders, as "the Milner Group," "the Committee of 300" (a separate organization), “the Illuminati" or “neo-Illuminati," and "the Olympians" (meaning, those equal to the gods of Olympus in Greek legend). (References to "the Order" with its "Skull and Bones" ritual indicate the American Templars.) The Illuminati refer to the private Order founded in Frankfurt by the first Rothschild in 1776, following his meetings with Adam Weishaupt. Following the oppression by the elector of Bavaria the Order was hidden in the "Grand Orient," a not even nominally Christian branch of Freemasonry. In due course the rich Syndicate families such as the Rockefellers and J. P. Morgans were among the Round Table's financiers. Through the Astor family the Round Table controlled the London Times newspaper. The parallel American Round-Table group, controlled by J. P. Morgan and Co., had an identical goal. 10 It included leaders of the Carnegie Endowment and other US-based foundations. According to the Carnegie Endowment's own documents, its leaders concluded in 1911 that the best way to alter a people's life is to involve it in war.

At about 9:20 this morning I tried to comment on a New York Times Article regarding the Department of State's efforts to have Latin American countries reject Edward Snowden. To post a comment you have to login to a New York Times Account. I logged into my account and typed in the following comment (the links at the end of the comment were added so reader’s could confirm the accuracy of statements I made, the hyper-links were added for this posting and were not in the comment) :
Rice is the 18th Council on Foreign Relations NSA director, Petreaus was 18th CFR CIA director, Napolitano is the 1st CFR DHS director, Kerry is the 22nd CFR Secretary of State, the CFR run Carlyle group owns Booz-Allen the spy company Snowden worked for. A message appeared saying the comment had to be edited before being published and had a little box to check if I wanted the NYT Editor to contact me with their decision. At 12:30 I still hadn’t received an e-mail so I checked the article. It said that there were 220 comments and comments were closed. I looked through the comments and my comment was not there. Not one comment mentioned anything about the CFR connection to the NSA, CIA,DHS, the Department of State or the Military Industrial Complex. The article quotes CFR member Bill Richardson and mentions CFR member John Kerry.
The article is deaf, dumb and blind to the CFR connection to Snowden and the NSA. It is also misleading. It is not the U.S. citizens pressing Latin Americans it is unelected Council on Foreign Relations members in the CFR run State Department doing the pressing to protect unelected CFR members who run the NSA and CFR members who own Booz-Allen-Hamilton, the company Snowden worked for.
Andrew M. Rosenthal has been the Editorial Page Editor of The New York Times since 2007. Andrew is a CFR member. Are New York Times Editors shaping news stories to influence public opinion to Council on Foreign Relations ends? Does the New York Times hire NSA/CIA operatives as editors to monitor user comments?

Cecil Rhodes was heavily influenced by John Robert Seeley one of the main minds behind the Imperial Federation Movement, he was also heavily influenced by John Ruskin and T.H. Green who introduced Rhodes to Hagel and a mysterious man called Froude.
The Imperial Federation Movement was set up to bring the United States back into the arms of the Inner City of London, the HQ of the East India Companies.
The Imperial Federation Movement was a reinvention of the Commonwealth of Parliaments set up by Oliver Cromwell, continued through the Milner Group and Oxford/Cambridge Universities, the Pilgrim Society among other groups and clubs, the amalgamation of which would shift into the Rhodes Round Table Group of think tanks that would influence the foundations and charities through the 20th century to undermine nations. The Inner Circle would continue in the shadows after the First World War as the supposed failed League of Nations, the next great war, World War II, gave the opportunity to create the outer circle front called the United Nations. The real cult from which this genocidal grouping took root was the Sabbatean Frankist networks.
The British Foreign Office refused to finance and support the Rhodes plan for Africa, it would be the Carnegie bankers that would finance the entire show on the premise the Rockefellers would take care of education subversion in the United States.

It often strikes a man to enquire what is the chief goal in life; to one the thought comes that it is a happy marriage, to another great wealth, and as each seizes on his idea, for that he more or less works for the rest of his existence.
To myself thinking over the same question the wish came to render myself useful to my country. I then asked myself how could I and after reviewing the various methods I have felt that at the present day we are actually limiting our children and perhaps bringing into the world half the human beings we might owing to the lack of country for them to inhabit that if we had retained America there would at this moment be millions more of English living.
I contend that we are the finest race in the world and that the more of the world we inhabit the better it is for the human race. Just fancy those parts that are at present inhabited by the most despicable specimens of human beings what an alteration there would be if they were brought under Anglo-Saxon influence, look again at the extra employment a new country added to our dominions gives.
I contend that every acre added to our territory means in the future birth to some more of the English race who otherwise would not be brought into existence. Added to this the absorption of the greater portion of the world under our rule simply means the end of all wars, at this moment had we not lost America I believe we could have stopped the Russian-Turkish war by merely refusing money and supplies.
Having these ideas what scheme could we think of to forward this object. I look into history and I read the story of the Jesuits I see what they were able to do in a bad cause and I might say under bad leaders.
In the present day I became a member of the Masonic order I see the wealth and power they possess the influence they hold and I think over their ceremonies and I wonder that a large body of men can devote themselves to what at times appear the most ridiculous and absurd rites without an object and without an end.
The idea gleaming and dancing before one’s eyes like a will-of-the wisp at last frames itself into a plan. Why should we not form a secret society with but one object the furtherance of the British Empire and the bringing of the whole uncivilised world under British rule for the recovery of the United States for the making the Anglo-Saxon race but one Empire.
What a dream, but yet it is probable, it is possible. I once heard it argued by a fellow in my own college, I am sorry to own it by an Englishman, that it was a good thing for us that we have lost the United States.
There are some subjects on which there can be no arguments, and to an Englishman this is one of them, but even from an American’s point of view just picture what they have lost, look at their government, are not the frauds that yearly come before the public view a disgrace to any country and especially their’s which is the finest in the world.
Would they have occurred had they remained under English rule great as they have become how infinitely greater they would have been with the softening and elevating influences of English rule, think of those countless thousands of Englishmen that during the last 100 years would have crossed the Atlantic and settled and populated the United States.
Would they have not made without any prejudice a finer country of it than the low class Irish and German emigrants? All this we have lost and that country loses owing to whom? Owing to two or three ignorant pig-headed statesmen of the last century, at their door lies the blame. Do you ever feel mad? Do you ever feel murderous. I think I do with those men. I bring facts to prove my assertions.
Does an English father when his sons wish to emigrate ever think of suggesting emigration under another flag, never it would seem a disgrace to suggest such a thing I think that we all think that poverty is better under our own flag rather than wealth under a foreign one.
Put your mind into another train of thought. Fancy Australia discovered and colonised under the French flag, what would it mean merely several millions of English unborn that at present exist {Hitler was not more racist} we learn from the past and to form our future. We learn through having lost to cling to what we possess. We know the size of the world we know the total extent. Africa is still lying ready for us it is our duty to take it. It is our duty to seize every opportunity of acquiring more territory and we should keep this one idea steadily before our eyes that more territory simply means more of the Anglo-Saxon race more of the best the most human, most honourable race the world possesses.
To forward such a scheme what a splendid help a secret society would be a society not openly acknowledged but who would work in secret for such an object. I contend that there are at the present moment numbers of the ablest men in the world who would devote their whole lives to it. I often think what a loss to the English nation in some respects the abolition of the Rotten Borough System has been. What thought strikes a man entering the house of commons, the assembly that rules the whole world?
I think it is the mediocrity of the men but what is the cause. It is simply an assembly of wealth of men whose lives have been spent in the accumulation of money and whose time has been too much engaged to be able to spare any for the study of past history. And yet in the hands of such men rest our destinies. Do men like the great Pitt, and Bourke and Sheridan not now exist. I contend they do. There are men now living with I know no other term the‚ of Aristotle but there are not ways for enabling them to serve their Country. They live and die unused unemployed. What has been the main cause of the success of the Romish Church? The fact that every enthusiast, call it if you like every madman finds employment in it.
Let us form the same kind of society a Church for the extension of the British Empire.
A society which should have its members in every part of the British Empire working with one object and one idea we should have its members placed at our universities and our schools and should watch the English youth passing through their hands just one perhaps in every thousand would have the mind and feelings for such an object, he should be tried in every way, he should be tested whether he is endurant, possessed of eloquence, disregardful of the petty details of life, and if found to be such, then elected and bound by oath to serve for the rest of his life in his Country. He should then be supported if without means by the Society and sent to that part of the Empire where it was felt he was needed.

Take one more case of the younger son with high thoughts, high aspirations, endowed by nature with all the faculties to make a great man, and with the sole wish in his life to serve his Country but he lacks two things the means and the opportunity, ever troubled by a sort of inward deity urging him on to high and noble deeds, he is compelled to pass his time in some occupation which furnishes him with mere existence, he lives unhappily and dies miserably. Such men as these the Society should search out and use for the furtherance of their object.
(In every Colonial legislature the Society should attempt to have its members prepared at all times to vote or speak and advocate the closer union of England and the colonies, to crush all disloyalty and every movement for the severance of our Empire. The Society should inspire and even own portions of the press for the press rules the mind of the people. The Society should always be searching for members who might by their position in the world by their energies or character forward the object but the ballot and test for admittance should be severe.)
Once make it common and it fails. Take a man of great wealth who is bereft of his children perhaps having his mind soured by some bitter disappointment who shuts himself up separate from his neighbours and makes up his mind to a miserable existence. To such men as these the society should go gradually disclose the greatness of their scheme and entreat him to throw in his life and property with them for this object. I think that there are thousands now existing who would eagerly grasp at the opportunity. Such are the heads of my scheme.
For fear that death might cut me off before the time for attempting its development I leave all my worldly goods in trust to S. G. Shippard and the Secretary for the Colonies at the time of my death to try to form such a Society with such an object.
In 1888 Rhodes revised his will adding the following statement :
This is my last will and all other wills I have made are hereby revoked. I leave equally among my brothers and sisters two thousand DeBeers and the balance of my property to Lord Rothschild (above left).
