Sign the petition - Blair must be held to account:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/159996

A new petition has been launched to bolster the campaign to hold Tony Blair to account by obtaining a House of Commons' vote holding him in contempt of Parliament.

Over a million people died in the Iraq War. Millions more were injured or left disabled. The US and its allies threw tens of thousands of people into dungeons and subjected them to torture, including thousands of children. Millions were forced to flee their ruined homes, as the country’s markets were forced open for Western corporations, which were also allowed to cheaply privatise the country’s resources. The war was a major cause for the spread of fundamentalism and conflict across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond. The current mass exodus of people can also be traced back to the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq.

Please sign the parliamentary petition calling on Parliament to hold Tony Blair to account for the deliberately misleading statements he made in the run up to the war in Iraq. This is part of an ongoing attempt to obtain a vote on this in the Commons. The ongoing deaths of Syrian civilians at the hands of US strikes highlight the relevance of holding to account those who started this horrible cycle of violence.
The Chilcot appeal - donate now

Our financial appeal continues in the wake of the Chilcot report to ensure that we can maximise the impact of all our campaigning. Producing tens of thousands of leaflets, printing placards, sustaining our growing social media operation and touring speakers around the country costs thousands of pounds every month.

Thanks to everyone who has generously helped us so far, but please keep the funds coming in. We could do with even more wind in our sails as we continue to struggle against the British establishment's permanent war agenda.

Stop the War
